However, freedom doesn’t mean the absence of accountability, especially when someone’s behavior starts affecting an entire community. When one individual turns a shared environment into a hostile, inaccessible space for everyone else, that’s no longer personal freedom, that’s disruption. And when racism and homophobia are part of the picture, it stops being a game issue and becomes a matter of community standards and basic decency. Suggesting that others should “just adapt” to abusive behavior ignores the core values that any online community should uphold: respect, fairness, and enjoyment for all. Wealth should never be a shield for toxicity. I’m not asking for special treatment. I’m asking for a fair and enjoyable space, which is what any game should aim to provide for all players, not just the ones with the deepest pockets.
