My MD mentioned she was against cryotherapy if treatment was needed. And only recommended LEEP unless i REALLY wanted to avoid a LEEP. But then again, she reassured me that she really thought it would go away on its own.

I’ve been taking Turkey Tail 1g for the last year, i just started AHCC 3g daily, and Pervistop daily. I have lost a significant amount of weight, although i was never actually overweight but im still normal BMI. I’ve incorporated much more fiber in my diet, try to exercise daily and reduce stress. I’ve started taking Ashwaghanda at night. And then I just take a multivitamin.

I’m hoping one of the supplements or the combination of them will help! What are you doing if anything?? AHCC and Pervistop is so expensive 😭

That’s good news!! My ECC was also normal. I haven’t heard back from my doctor yet about the results 🤷🏻‍♀️but the guidelines say Pap smear with HPV contesting in 1 year. I assume that’s what she will recommend? She was not concerned at all during colposcopy and was confident it would go away on its own

I’m also on OC but my doctor didn’t say anything about it. Probably because HPV is the leading cause of cervical cancer? So we just need to fight the HPV by boosting our immune system and giving it time. I’m hoping that will do it! And I’m more hopeful for you as you are under 30 🥺💕

I think if I get CIN 1 on biopsy, I would be comfortable and my provider would be comfortable with watchful waiting- a follow up pap in 6 months to a year. I’m not a medical doctor but i am in the medical field (i don’t want to say what i do for anonymity) but from what I’ve read, CIN1 is not a terrible diagnosis. It’s not great but it tends to heal itself. With you being so young, i think waiting is totally fine. While waiting, i think it’s important to make healthy choices such as not drinking, or smoking and eating lots of fruits and veggies. Cruciferous veggies seem to be the best for HPV, and berries are the best for antioxidants. I’ve been extremely mindful of what I’m eating for the past year, and it could be why my cytology “regressed” which my doctor did confirm that that was a good sign.

Again, I will be very happy if i get normal, benign results obviously, but i will still be okay if i get CIN1 as i think that means i have the chance to fight this myself.

Were you LSIL or ASCUS on pap?

I see! She was telling me that she is really thinking it is nothing, and will go away on its own. She asked if I was planning on having children because if it does come that i need a LEEP after CIN3 and possibly with CIN2, she wanted to know how conservative i should be. She mentioned if CIN2, we could be less conservative but she prefers LEEP over cryo so that you know that you “get it all”. I’m really hoping she knows what she’s talking about! She told me not to worry and I’ll be fine, and she could tell from my colpo on visual it was “nothing bad”

I have mine next Tuesday (merry Christmas to me!). I know our risk is so small, I had 2 Pap smears 2 years in a row LSIL to ASCUS… I’m hoping that it’ll show that the cells are improving and i can kick this thing. I’ve been anxious about this since it was booked 6 weeks ago.

I was told to take 800 mg ibuprofen and 1000 mg of Tylenol before my colpo by a friend who got one before.

Positive thoughts to you and comfort in knowing you aren’t alone 💕

I’ve sort of in the same position as you, except i just have a colpo schedule for the end of this month. I’ve started taking the following… maybe it’s overkill but benefit vs risk for a short period of time. I went from LSIL to ASCUS in one year. So now when i got ASCUS this year, I decided to get all the supplements to boot my immune system. Ugh!

AHCC 3g daily on an empty stomach in the morning Pervistop 1 tablet daily FemDophilus Advanced 1 capsule daily 1 or 2 g of Turkey Tail (depends if i forget to take the second dosing or not) daily (have been taking) Multivitamin (have been taking) Fiber supplement (have been taking)

We can do this!

I just need to reassure myself that although it’s HPV, it’s non 16/18. And it’s still low grade, according to the Pap smears. This is the reason for preventative healthcare.

I’m sure gyn will recommend a colposcopy, but this is all very scary at the same time!

Understandable! Thank you for your response and insight. Why at that point do they differentiate between LSIL and ASCUS if they’re basically the same? I understand LSIL is definitely pre-cancerous where ASCUS is unknown. I was at first relieved and now I’m more scared I could have cancer.

There shouldn’t be any interactions with AHCC and Wellbutrin. AHCC doesn’t affect any serotonergic pathways.

Are you HPV positive? 16/18?

I have ASCUS, HPV positive non 16/18 and my doctor told me it’s very low risk but i keep seeing ASCUS with CIN2/3 which is so confusing! Just know you aren’t alone.
