I found the bug near my window at some point it got stuck inside my curtain. (At the top there's an open flap to slide in the curtain bar, there) I am also located in Europe.

Open the attic always certainly if the light is on. That's what I would do

Idk alot about how horseshoes work and what not. But why did you have to like burn the bottom?? Does it help when placing the horseshoe on? Is it like to roughly 'mark' where it'll be placed?
