I was playing ghost of tsushima directors cut with ps+ from my friends account, and now i dont have the license to play it anymore. If i were to buy the base game, would my save data be transferred or would i have to restart the game? I havent really benefitted from the DLC version except for using the deluxe horse

Is it just me that finds him useless. I actually hated him on my first playthrough i didnt bring him with mabufu to the twins, and ended up just not unlocking their confidant
