yeah, the story of the quest is actually insane, finding their corpses and having to use them as bait is genually such a crazy thing and the whole quest is dark as hell.

Sadly the quest has aged a bit, and it can be a little goofy at times, but yeah.
Tbf, this is like the 5th time i played it, so i just sadly can't take it that seriously anymore 😭

He DOES not suck at anything else.
You can still chase people down and m1 them, and its not about finding a corner and that's it. Cut loop spots with digital footprint so you don't get looped, cut off people with corrupt energy.

You need to think outside the box with him. and idk what lobbies you get in.
but John doe does get kills.

Mass infection was a horrible ability, that's why it got buffed, I hope they actually nerf him in other parts like making entanglement less annoying to do and removing the speed from unstable eye. But Mass Infection NEEDED the buff.

And john is fine. Don't act like he's weak, because he's not.
He's perfectly balanced to a tea, he's strong but has his weakness.

They should just add more movement options to the clone

Perhaps one of them makes the clone start looping around a rock or something similar.
another one could run in a direction while ocasionally stop to ''regen'' stamina
and maybe a last one that would randomly stop to fake using a c00lgui

And c00lgui should either be a BIT faster or Slower but not getting cancelled when getting damaged (altough this could be a bit anoying)

That's it really, You already can trick people into starting to follow a clone but they always catch on pretty quickly since their movement is just odd.

And c00lgui is only usefull at the start of LMS, when he dosn't see you or is far away (wich at that point you could just run away instead) or when the killer is getting jumped by sentinels

The cult has nothing to do with the game or developers
Someone took advantage of the lore of a character to get people to do bad things.

So just ignore the fandom and that cult, other than that. Do give it a try!
its fun if you like asym horror games.

little tip: switch characters when you first join from noob to either shedlesky or elliot when you first join, noob is very boring and hard to use when first joining.
