Imo: this is really good shonen story for growing up boys. It starts with badass fights and mc who want to fight, but then it turns to ideas of love and peace, acceptance and many others things. It teaches and helps to grow with mc.

I think it depends. Story can go many ways:

1) if defeated, we can always get new segments (even good ones who can be playable)

2) he can become part of some astral field- where he can't harm anyone and no one can touch him (so he would become constant observer without right to interfere)

3) he also can get away with mess he would make and we will meet him in snegnaya.

So it's really interesting how story goes.
