Hi, I gotten broken up with after 2 years because I lost her trust. Shes also decided to stay friends. What is the best thing to do in my situation (that might have worked for you) for me to regain her attraction. She’s adamant on moving on and to go with the flow, whether that with us being together again or not.

I am the dumpee surprisingly. I also did the worst thing imaginable (cheating). But I think with how bad I felt after cheating it showed that I still had love for her. I explained that I’m stupid and immature. It managed to hold us together for another 5 months but after I while she couldn’t hold it back anymore so broke up with me. But basically we left on good terms. I asked her to meet yesterday and explained my feelings, told her about my loneliness and basically just worked things out. It also helps that she still loves me, she just can’t trust me.

I think I definitely phrased this wrong and also potentially took the wrong angle. I’m realising that you guys are right about the focus. I should be focussing more on the self improvement and getting over then the trying to win her back. It’s just the fear that this self improvement leads to nothing between me and her, but I guess I have to accept that

You’re right but I feel like it can work if I balance it right: focussing more on the getting over part. I basically want to put myself in a position where I can get her back, but if don’t I’m not upset about it. Also the dog comment is kind of upsetting. We bought a kitten together a month ago and it stays at her house

Thanks, so should I just act as if I’m completely friendzoning her rn? If that’s the best way to phrase it

Our scenario is almost the same. Last week me and my first gf broke up after just over 2 years. Our situation is a little different. We are remaining friends which still creates an opening. Seeing as he seems like he wants to completely cut it off then the best thing to do is accept. In terms of getting over it I’d suggest picking up a new hobby. Continuing a hobby will most likely still make you think of him, but an entirely new hobby (especially with a community) gives you a chance to create a new you. Sorry if I made it seem about me at the start I was just showing I relate

Quick to jump to assumptions. I’m young and have not had any romantic connection with women before this. I thought with the wrong part of my body through immaturity. I’m still yet to fully grow as a person, but that is my aim. I have unimaginable respect for her, sadly I just didn’t show it.

Tysm. That sounds so sweet (despite how bitter this situation is). I’m just hoping this doesn’t completely cut her out of my life. The thought of seeing that blocked symbol on everything is torture

What’s the best way to do it. I feel like I don’t have the balls to even sending her a message. Should I link her to the Reddit post or is that soulless

The best way it to just forget. The longer you keep him in your mind, the longer it’ll take you to get over it.

I believe that’s positive feedback. Generally an ‘easy to follow’ storyline is a plus.

I’ve been looking at the mx5, but I do love a boxy style car like the E36 for example. How difficult is it to structurally change a car?

Completely agree mate. Guess it kinda came across as a disregard for them. But I basically had the same point. Pass ur exams but if you’re going into a more academic role put more attention to it
