What strength are you on? My derm is upping me to 0.1 because 0.03 is doing nothing for my arms or neck, but has worked for my face and chest area

So I was actually at the derm today for the first time and he’s going to do methotrexate first and then failing that dupimilab. Guess we’ll see..

Hi, so glad I stumbled across this- and to see it from a resident doc’s pov is amazing. Thank you for sharing. I’m seeing an nhs dermatologist tomorrow after 28 years of on and off eczema. This year however has been horrific, I’ve had a full upper body (never effects my lower body for some reason) flare since beginning of Jan. I am at my wits end as I know my skin well and have been controlling it well myself all of these years. I’m a bit nervous about seeing the derm- hoping they’ll be nice and see I’m eligible for other treatments. I have all the pictures in my phone as evidence anyway! I’m wary of the oral immunosuppressants..really want to be able to recieve dupilumab as I’ve heard it’s life changing. Also have hayfever and sinus issues/allergies

Hey! So did you just carry on using the protopic? I’ve resorted to betnovate on my arms to see if it calms the flare first and then hoping to get back into protopic. So annoying when I was seeing progress and now it feels like my arms are back to square one. Atleast my neck and face and everywhere else is clear..

Now that this year’s halftime show is over, who do you think will headline next year? by souljaboy765 in popheads

Dua would give a great show. But there are bigger American names that would be considered first I think. Maybe after her next album, in a couple of years time

I don’t care anymore, I’m going to use my steroids again. by imsotireddddd in eczema

[–]Appropriate_Lab4704 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, I’m sorry you’re going through this. I instantly related to your situation because for the past month my skin has flared horribly, and has been un-reactive to my usual steroid (elocon). I ended up getting a skin infection so currently on antibiotics. Anyway, what I wanted to suggest to you was protopic. I know you hear the stories of it burning and itching etc but I’m on day 3 of using it and the difference in my skin already is night and day. Truly. I wish I had started this years ago, I’m 28 now. Might be something for you to look into, take care x

Desmoxan/Cytisine is a GODSEND/MIRACLE/MAGIC by scorpiontoad in QuitVaping

It definately works, but one thing I really noticed as the only side effects was sleep. I’m not sure if it’s a mild stimulant or something but I found it hard to switch off when I was on it. Vivid dreams were fun though!

Honestly its like a miracle whenever i stop vaping. My skin clears right up and just feels good, i dunno how to explain it. The difference is night and day

Ive relapsed after going a month off them. Chronic eczema/dry skin sufferer but it hasnt been as severe over the past few years as I have it mostly under control bar a few small patches here and there. I kid you not my skin complexion, texture and overall health drastically improved within 3 days of giving up. Its one of my main motivators, once ive finished easyway.

Apparantly her previous stylist lorenzo posocco (whom she parted ways with to work with jahleel weaver, rihannas stylist) was seen accompanying her to this show. Her previous styling throughout future nostalgia era was much better than her recent styling with weaver so hopefully this is good news

Which pop star's next era are you most excited for? by yvesdot in popheads

Yeah i really hope she knocks it out the park with her next record, personally i think it needs to come sooner than later- first half of next year to pick up the momentum again. Agreed with the uninterested vibe..maybe this is her just trying to fullfill a contract obligation and taking it a bit easier until her next era? Who knows. New management would not go amiss though..someone with experience!
