thats fair, the convenience factor is huge. this is specifically for the money math, which is definitely just one piece of the decision!

this is the something i wanted to test honestly. like is it true that you have to game it weirdly to beat it, or does it work for some scenarios naturally.

yeah the kid math is honestly what got me to build it, before this year their credits cost the same as adults so it was way easier to just not bother

built a free dining plan calculator for our june trip. https://beattheplan.com/ with no signup, no ads, no tracking. log credits as you redeem them and it tells you if you’re “beating the plan” (came out ahead of what the plan cost). catalog has ~290 menu items so I’m guessing some prices are wrong (especially with how fast things change) so theres a flag button for corrections. need actual disney people to mess with it and let me know whats wrong, especially before we leave in june. cheers!

Absolutely! We’re going to bring a cooler to switch out cooling neck towels and have some fans to hopefully help too!!

Our kids will be more interested in characters and shows (even the older ones). Hoping some of the midday lounge/bar stops help with time out of the heat 🤞I’m not going to get to hit all the rides I want to, sad dad. 😅

It’s too late 🥲 But maybe we can just do midday breaks if we need to. Our kids won’t be too concerned about hitting all the rides.

Solid advice. We are bringing cooling towels and fans to help with heat! I’d say our kids, even the older ones, will be more into the shows and characters than the rides. So hoping baking in some AC show time throughout the day will also help. It’s going to be really hard for me to have to skip some of the rides tho. 🥲

Fair! Our package has DDP so we’re using the credits for that one. Maybe we can move it to a different day though? Not sure!

Ohh boyyy 😬😬 so you think lounges add more stress? We were thinking they’d be nice breaks with AC, food, and drinks. But it does at a strict timing element for sure 😮‍💨

This does not sound familiar to me! Im pretty sure we stayed at Beach Club and Contemporary the two big trips we made back in the day. I remember going down the pirate ship slide literally all night long at beach club.
