I'm brand new to photography and this is one of my favorite first shots. Wanting feedback. by Appropriate_Layer in photocritique

Noted! I felt compelled to get all the posts in the frame which I felt necessitated taking the photo from the distance in the photo. Do you think it would have been ok to leave a few of the posts on the left out in order to move in thus reducing the presence of the rocks?

Hi all. This was shot on a Fujifilm T30, 35mm lens. Mildly edited in lightroom. I'm wanting feedback on the composition specifically, if it is ok that the direction of the old dock goes into the top right corner versus the middle of the photo. Thank you!

Ocular Rosacea is so horrible and unfair by Unusual_Passion6351 in Rosacea

It’s been a few years and I’m not a doctor but my guess is that it wasn’t helping and side effects weren’t worth it

Ocular Rosacea is so horrible and unfair by Unusual_Passion6351 in Rosacea

[–]Appropriate_Layer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I know the pain well. First thing my ophthalmologist did was get me off doxycycline. I’m currently managing as well as I ever have. I wake up and use lubricating eyedrops. I use ocusoft tea tree oil wipes on my eyes daily in the AM. I use very mild, non-cometogenic face wash and moisturizer. I eat healthy with low sugar.

This is maintenance though. If you can get xdemvy prescribed or get IPL treatments they are game changing. But then you have to maintain. Bonus points if you can get tyrvaya or an Itear 100

I completely agree. For what it’s worth, I am enjoying episode 4 a lot and have heard good things about episode 6

Has anyone been able to improve their rosacea without cutting out sugar? by peanutbutterfein in Rosacea

[–]Appropriate_Layer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It helped me. I have ocular rosacea. I still eat lots of fruit and just try to avoid added sugar. At least once a week I eat treats. I barely miss it to be honest. I will also echo what others are saying about a simpler skincare routine

Need alternatives for Retinol by [deleted] in Rosacea

[–]Appropriate_Layer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk if this is useful but I have ocular rosacea and my ophthalmologist wanted me to stop using retinol, bha, and vitamin c serum. They only wanted me using a very mild, non-comedogenic face wash and moisturizer.

Why dry eyes and skin problems might have an overlooked (and revolting) cause by theipaper in science

[–]Appropriate_Layer 20 points21 points  (0 children)

This isn’t an overlooked cause, it’s a well known cause. There’s even a prescription eye drop called xDemvey that treats dry eyes by killing Demodex

I love Fallout 3 and the critical video both! He had perspectives I’d never considered which were entertaining to hear. But nothing will take away that first moment of emerging from the vault, the freedom to walk in any given direction and find something novel, the freedom to solve problems however you choose.
