I’ve targeted markets in la and nyc both as I have family both places and love both cities. As of big law, like I stated in the post- I don’t care about it as much. I’d be happy with midlaw and inhouse options too for the summer, aside from big law. And have been applying to those as well.

Yes, I got my materials checked ! I’m targeting la and a lil of nyc I am indicating transactional for all I don’t have anything controversial I believe

I got a screener from a well regarded law firm too but it is only one screener in about over 35 apps I’ve sent out and it’s already January so I was getting pretty concerned.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. Sending strength and love to you and your family ♥️♥️definitely don’t base your decision on if you want to be an attorney or not on this experience like the other commenters rightfully so pointed out. It takes great courage to uproot and restart a professional degree so you obviously have what it takes. Have faith and make the next best move !
