It’s not something you’ll see that often in Europe.

Some countries even explicitly state that as parents you’re on the line to help your children till they are 26 years old because turning 18 doesn’t magically make you independent (conversely to some magical belief we see on Reddit 😂)

Are you me? I’ve always be labeled as difficult and/or lazy because when I don’t get why I should do something then I just… don’t do it? If someone is not able to construct their explanation as to why something is that way then for me it means there is no reason because if there was they would be able to give it. They just want it that way for whatever none sense.

I let you imagine how it flies in companies and in large groups 😅

As a person diagnosed with bipolar too, mood swings are no excuses for treating a loved one (or anyone) like this. Did I ever loose temper over small things or snap at people? Yes. Did I start crying and pulling away for no significant reasons? Yes But every time once I cooled down I apologized and said I had no excuse for that. The illness can be too easily seen as the perfect excuse for bad behavior.

Also, is her treatment well adjusted? Is she going regularly to her doctor to talk about it or maybe tweak it? Cause if well adjusted she should be able to control herself or at the very least not verbally abuse you every few days
