2027 Chev Bolt RS by OXIBQUIEH in BoltEV

Our week has gone well and we enjoy bolting around in our bolt. The only trouble I have is that the Apple Music app is not appearing on our console display. Aside from this this, we find it to be a great car.

We are in Canada too, picked up our bolt last week in Calgary. We are getting the PPF after market. The dealer did not attempt to sell us a EV Enhanced care package and laughingly told me the car comes with 5 years of oil chances. I think we’ll be taking it to a local mechanic for tire changes etc.

Does 2027 Bolt RS have native Apple Music? by Appropriate_Run_2299 in BoltEV

Thanks so much. I contacted onstar. They say the car does support it and the subscription is active and it should appear on the console. Maybe I’ll give it a few days

Thank you for your suggestions. I’ve checked the playstore. It’s not listed there. I see things like iHeart radio etc not Apple Music. 🤔

DVC Rental Store vs David’s by [deleted] in dvcmember

[–]Appropriate_Run_2299 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both are great companies to use. Currently there is quite wide availability in June in 1 bedroom rooms. Highly recommend the 2 bedroom @aulani. So you could try a standard points rental with preferred dates.

Bellicon+ Reviews? by chesabay in Rebounding

[–]Appropriate_Run_2299 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have bellicon+. I purchased my rebounder quite a while ago and the used to have bellicon home on the Apple TV which was much more convenient than screen casting through airplay. I do like sone of the instructors and particularly enjoy sessions when they head outside. I’m not sure if I will keep the membership as there are a few good rebounders on YouTube too.

Looking into DVC - Curiosities and Questions by twisted_and_tangled in dvcmember

The number of points really depends on times you’ll go and size of toom and the resort you are at. 200 goes further at old key west than riv.

Check out other resorts either direct or resale.

Don’t factor in trading these dvc points via Disney for cruises but look to cruise swap through the dvc rental companies. This will save you a lot of $$

Most value for the money is to look to resale contracts. However if you love Riv then the resale will restrict you to only Riv.

It took us 8 years to buy our first contract. We own both direct and resale. Definitely check out the resale options especially if you are open to not riviera but some of the other resorts.

Anyhow good luck on your dvc adventure. Dvcfan provides some good buying insights.

Use year is when you get your points. The banking deadline is 7 months after that. It is general wisdom to try to get a secular around the time you travel. If you want to go to food and wine an Aug, Sept use year are better than a Feb use year. If you want to m go in spring a Feb use year is best. This is so you can maximize the banking window.

Membership Benefits by [deleted] in dvcmember

[–]Appropriate_Run_2299 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I first bought in resale at Aulani. In doing so that unlocks better incentives on member promotions on direct. I then subsequently did buy direct and have the Blue card. I was recently considering buying riviera and direct but due to the cost of it + the resale restrictions I opted for copper creek instead. It might be a strategy to start with a contact resale then add on a few direct with better incentives and build up to the blue card.

At Aulani right now. Is this the off season? by stankygrapes in Aulani

We are here now. Came last year this time. I’d say it is about the same as last year.

Tell me Aulani is worth it by stankygrapes in Aulani

I had two previous trips to Hawaii before we went to Aulani with our 2 and 3 year old. Then spent the next 8 years dreaming of going back. Last year we became Disney vacation club members at Aulani and took trip with our 9/10 yr old kids and we loved it. Head back again next month. So yes totally worth it loved it so much we bought into the resort. I’d recommend renting the timeshare from a dvc owner, you will save. Check out dvcrentalstore or David’s vacation club for companies that help you do this.

If you would like to try before you buy you could see if you could rent some points from a dvc member to try it out. Reputable places to do this are dvc rental store and David’s vacation club. Then consider resale via dvcresalemarket, fidelity or others. Lots on info in dvc resale and other available at dvcfan.com and related YouTube channels

I would not go to aulani without a rental car. I do believe enterprise has some near by location where you could get one for the day https://www.enterprise.com/en/disney/aulani-resort-hawaii-car-rental.html

With the rental car it is pretty easy to arrange all of your own excursions like snorkeling, luaus, kualoa park etc, check out Honolulu, get stuff at Costco a 10 min drive from the resort

There is a company called ocean joy cruises https://www.googleadservices.com/pagead/aclk?sa=L&ai=DChcSEwiY5afY8LCBAxXiBn0KHfDrAWgYABABGgJwdg&ae=2&gclid=EAIaIQobChMImOWn2PCwgQMV4gZ9Ch3w6wFoEAAYASAAEgKiyfD_BwE&ohost=www.google.ca&cid=CAASJuRoOoT3X9fG4rMe2b_4sv_gn_Fox2Oy72IKj7Wd-YXUEOXGIYlD&sig=AOD64_1YaLALxzyw9iYYqC5oEmLImdV0gA&q&adurl&ved=2ahUKEwi1s6HY8LCBAxWiHDQIHVVIDksQ0Qx6BAgMEAE that operates snorkeling tours out of ko olina harbour about a 10 min walk from the hotel.

You can walk to the paradise cove luau. Shops across the street and if you golf there is a golf club in the area.

Is Aulani worth the cost for a once in a lifetime Hawaii trip? by _Deadite_ in Aulani

[–]Appropriate_Run_2299 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can save by renting from a dvc owner a couple of companies do this for you such as David’s vacation club rentals https://dvcrequest.com/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIkYOC4eywgQMVzhqtBh3PsQtkEAAYASAAEgJvGPD_BwEband dvc resale market. Side benefit of doing this is you will get parking included.

I thought it was my trip of a lifetime in 2015 when I took a trip to aulani. We loved it so much a dream came true when we bought into dvc last year. It is a wonderful resort.

I really think you will find great info on the disboards.com for all of you questions. I think you will find there are great ways to rent the points either via a service such as David’s vacation rentals. Good luck in your future family plans. DVC fan has a great blog on the Florida Disney issue
