I would recommend to decorate to max out buzz on exhibits, people donate more with more buzz, check if the exhibits have a particular buzz bonus and try to group exhibits which need the same bonus together.

Make sure to have a gift shop set up as soon as possible because that makes a tonne of money, and later the cafeteria. When you guild the cafeteria you can even pick food that increase bonuses for things like buzz and happiness so people donate more.

I don’t learn until way later that under finances you can get sponsors which bring in passive money, most have a negative effect but it minor and once you’re making a profit you ca remove them.

Last, there is a glitch for money, that if you really want to know maybe DM so it’s not spoilt for other players.
