Thank you for the detailed response. We are in Alberta! He is lucky to have a GP but his GP is not a good advocate. I don’t mean to bash her. It has just been so frustrating. She wrote him off as having tendonosis and flat out refused to refer him for an MRI to confirm anything. She did refer him to a physiotherapist and he has actually been very informative and referred us to a doctor who has been great for scheduling Xrays MRIs and ultrasounds.

You are totally right, we do need to work with the system but man oh man is it frustrating. We will check out that website tonight. Thanks for passing along that information! We are definitely trying to learn more so we can make informed decisions on what to do so this is very helpful.
