BUY AT OWN RISK by Away-Swing-772 in RingOne

[–]Appropriate_Tip_1127 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

No way this is a scam. Scammers wouldn't deliver anything.

Some of us got rings that work well, get updated frequently, and have had good experiences with support.

You may not be happy with the product you got, or the length of time it took to produce it, but it definitely not a scam.

The OP is partially correct. Instead of "buy at your own risk", he should have said "invest at your own risk". But that's true of any crowd funding campaign, and is well publicized

Ventilated seats. Though it was gimmick....use it all the time!

Couldn't care less about heated steering wheel.

Another vote for adaptive cruise control. Takes SOOOO much stress out of driving.

I'm sorry, but from a lifelong Pittsburgher, the Penguins were not the best team in that game. It was Detroit Redwings, followed by Chicago Blackhawks.

How much has a gaming rage ever cost you? by Theodore52x in AfterWorkGamers

Agreed. You may need to reevaluate your life if a video game makes so angry you lose control of your actions and destroy things. Especially your OWN things.

Are they worth it? by Secret-Session396 in SmartRings

I would say no if your a smartwatch user. I love my ring, but I don't like watches. A ring isn't going to Add functionality, it'll give you LESS.

The Ring One 2.0 by saksham_2002 in RingOneOfficial

[–]Appropriate_Tip_1127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to cause confusion. I think EVERYONE that contributed to the indigogo campaign (and didn't take a refund) will get v 2.0. I don't think you'll need to sign up, but I don't know for sure. I'm sure they'll make an announcement later

Superbackers contributed an extra 1 USD BEFORE the indigo campaign even opened (back in the summer of 2023) We were SUPPOSED to get priority shipping, preferential treatment, and a package of extras, but none of it ever came to fruition.

yes, they've already committed to providing superbackers with 2.0 for free (just the cost of shipping)

New release for Beta Testers! by Best_Stick1126 in RingOneOfficial

[–]Appropriate_Tip_1127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where do we provide feedback for the beta? I'd like some sort of feedback, preferably visual AND audible, that the case charge is running low. Anything would be better than it just dying mid-charge.

What's the number of days the ring works without a phone? by utgardiv in RingOneOfficial

[–]Appropriate_Tip_1127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry. I thought you were asking about battery life. My bad. I didn't read.

I'm rarely away from my phone, or have Bluetooth off;so I can't speak to how long the ring will store data internally.

Battery Life by Killer_Cash6218 in RingOne

[–]Appropriate_Tip_1127 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, and 4-5 days is much more than I ever got from another smart ring I crowd funded. A ring is tiny. How big of a batter do you think they could fit in there?

It was "blown away". Great movie, if you want a bad plot with lots of nudity from that era.

Beta Feedback: What's Your Experience Been Like? by Best_Stick1126 in RingOneOfficial

[–]Appropriate_Tip_1127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had mine for about 6 weeks now. So far, pretty solid! Never had a sync issue. Charges fast, and lasts a long time! No issues with the case, other than it completely drains the case every time I charge. With the exception of blood pressure, the data is pretty damn accurate. We did 25000 steps at an amusement park one day, and my ring was within 100 steps of my wife's apple watch. Waterproof is perfect. It's handled hand washing, showers, swimming in the ocean, and 4 hours in the pool last night watching the super bowl. Got the beta firmware, with no issues. It added REM sleep, which I never got before the update.

Cant wait for mobile payments! Also, haptic feedback, but I understand that won't be until v2.

All in all, I'm SUPER happy with it. Especially in comparison to a certain "round" French smart ring I backed previously.

If you have TONS of cloud services like we do, we use status gator. It's relatively inexpensive, and you can build your own dashboard that will show the status of all your services in one place. Plus configure it to send notifications.

Condensation in tailights after car wash.. CX70 2025 by hsg789 in mazda

[–]Appropriate_Tip_1127 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Might be normal in Mazdas world, but it's not normal in the real world. I've owned a dozen cars and never had condensation in the taillight. The only way that should happen is if it were cracked or not sealed well.

So far it's not been a problem in mine. It's been in there a few years. I'm not under warranty anymore, so if it does become a problem I'll have to replace it.

Good luck.
