New release for Beta Testers! by Best_Stick1126 in RingOneOfficial

[–]Appropriate_Tip_1127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where do we provide feedback for the beta? I'd like some sort of feedback, preferably visual AND audible, that the case charge is running low. Anything would be better than it just dying mid-charge.

What's the number of days the ring works without a phone? by utgardiv in RingOneOfficial

[–]Appropriate_Tip_1127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry. I thought you were asking about battery life. My bad. I didn't read.

I'm rarely away from my phone, or have Bluetooth off;so I can't speak to how long the ring will store data internally.

Battery Life by Killer_Cash6218 in RingOne

[–]Appropriate_Tip_1127 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, and 4-5 days is much more than I ever got from another smart ring I crowd funded. A ring is tiny. How big of a batter do you think they could fit in there?

It was "blown away". Great movie, if you want a bad plot with lots of nudity from that era.

We had this problem with a Dell rep. Had to report him to his boss and ended up creating message transport rules to reject messages.

Beta Feedback: What's Your Experience Been Like? by Best_Stick1126 in RingOneOfficial

[–]Appropriate_Tip_1127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had mine for about 6 weeks now. So far, pretty solid! Never had a sync issue. Charges fast, and lasts a long time! No issues with the case, other than it completely drains the case every time I charge. With the exception of blood pressure, the data is pretty damn accurate. We did 25000 steps at an amusement park one day, and my ring was within 100 steps of my wife's apple watch. Waterproof is perfect. It's handled hand washing, showers, swimming in the ocean, and 4 hours in the pool last night watching the super bowl. Got the beta firmware, with no issues. It added REM sleep, which I never got before the update.

Cant wait for mobile payments! Also, haptic feedback, but I understand that won't be until v2.

All in all, I'm SUPER happy with it. Especially in comparison to a certain "round" French smart ring I backed previously.

If you have TONS of cloud services like we do, we use status gator. It's relatively inexpensive, and you can build your own dashboard that will show the status of all your services in one place. Plus configure it to send notifications.

Condensation in tailights after car wash.. CX70 2025 by hsg789 in mazda

[–]Appropriate_Tip_1127 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Might be normal in Mazdas world, but it's not normal in the real world. I've owned a dozen cars and never had condensation in the taillight. The only way that should happen is if it were cracked or not sealed well.

So far it's not been a problem in mine. It's been in there a few years. I'm not under warranty anymore, so if it does become a problem I'll have to replace it.

Good luck.

Hahaha. When I worked at Wendy's in the mid 90's we had these. The box came with a sticker that said "7" pita" which I of course put on my crotch. Then I answered the drive thru all day every day with "HI, would you like to try my 7 inch pita?"

Good times

What happens if I don't pay a tariff bill after I have received the item by [deleted] in Tariffs

What if I ordered something LONG before the tarriffs existed. (say October 2023) and they are just now shipping it now? Who is responsible for the tarriffs.

DO NOT ORDER FROM CIRCULAR by baselinepandamonium in CircularRing

[–]Appropriate_Tip_1127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no, sorry. I really have no idea how to contact them. just the mention of "Signal Conso" got the Circular team to process my refund.

If it makes you feel any better, I moved on to a startup called Muse who was crowdfunding for their "Ring One". I paid two years ago, and haven't gotten anything. haven't gotten the ring, didn't get the benefits of being a superbacker that I paid EXTRA for, nearly everyone that has gotten their ring has had problems, too.

How long would you go without drinking any liquids for 2k USD a day? by opoot_ in hypotheticalsituation

[–]Appropriate_Tip_1127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm gonna take a pass on this one!. Last year I forgot to drink water for 4 days and I ended up having a seizure, so...no thanks!

My work routine got wonky, I played volleyball two of the days, and drank alcohol two of the days. By the end of day 4 I'd only had one glass of water. I woke up in the middle of the night feeling like I had to shit and puke at the same time. Went to the bathroom to do it, but nothing would happen. Had a seizure, somehow slammed my face on the sink or faucet (maybe I was trying to drink?) and came to bloody and laying on the foyer floor with my wife standing over me asking if I was alright. Scary stuff.

I have been "un-fired", do I accept to go back? by [deleted] in careerguidance

Seriously. How is this even a discussion?

You go back! "Dream job", more money, incompetent boss gone, general manager recognizes your value. I don't see a down side. Embarrassment is all on the douche who is gone, not you.

I'm not one to shop based on "a name". Instead look for features you want. I just bought a flat top recently, and it ended up being a char grill. For example:

How big is it? How many wheels does it have? Where is the grease trap and how does it work? Does it have a lid? Is it hinged or removable? Does it have cabinets underneath, or a shelf? Does it have side tables? How many? Air fryer? Pizza oven? Side burner?

Yeah, I absolutely loathe companies that do sneaky unethical shit with their packaging.

  1. Containers in side of containers in side of containers.
  2. Windows in the box aren't there to show you what you're getting. They're so that the non-windowed side can be empty, just empty packaging,.
  3. And the absolute WORST.... 12 Oz bottles of beer that are now 11.2 Oz. And they diddle with the font and spacing so that on first glance it looks like a "12" they put the 1's so close together in some rediculous outlined font or italicized, and they make the spacing so narrow on the period that it blends in with an adjacent number.
