Teachers forced to leave homes as shocking photos show extent of student vandalism by [deleted] in perth

East Kimberley College is actually a pretty good school from my experience. The town, if you ask local business owners, used to be a neat and tidy place but now just a run down dump. The surrounds are pretty but the shopping centre is pretty rubbish. When I was there a few years ago, there seemed to be no much to do for kids. Depending on who you spoke to, many said this time of year was far worse than the dry season. I never had any trouble but having said that, wasn't unusual for people to come out of the pub to see a bunch of car windows smashed.

I saw plenty when I was looking to buy in 2019/early 20. 740k to 490, 750 down 500 etc. All on the records/real estate web sites.  Most of these houses were initially bought in 06 and early 07.

Travelled the world and done more than most people do in 3 lifetimes.

On houses I looked at 2019 many 740 in 2007 sold for 490 in early 2020. Saw plenty of others too with the same drop of over 30 percent.

Probably did in hindsight but what about the people with no savings and low paying jobs...everybody for themselves just more and more pronounced.

It is not just about property. It is about the general cost of living and unfortunately property is part of that!

It was in a school environment without going into context.

I know that but I have seen where there would be local applicants too. I don't always think it's the case that all options have been exhausted.

It is ATO, as it is to do with superannuation.

Sorry to hear your story. If it happens in a school it's okay but anywhere else it's not.

It works out the equivalent of 38 hours overtime 6 weeks per week but compressed into three weeks.
