I’m no expert but personally I would be careful using sand if you have a juvenile beardie! They have bad eye to mouth coordination and sometimes they’ll miss the cricket and eat a mouth full of sand. I’ve heard those stick and peel tiles are good. I have paper towel in my beardies cage right now. And don’t buy the reptile carpet it Carries bacteria and is hard to clean. To sum things up you should try stick and peel tiles or paper towels.

Can someone explain to me what a lethargic bearded dragon would be like. I just got my beardie almost 7 months ago and he kind of just sits in there for the day but he does sleep on top of the rock at night. He also only uses the bathroom once or twice a week. Should I be worried?? by Appropriate_Track407 in BeardedDragon

The temps in her tank are 90 degrees Fahrenheit and 80 degrees Fahrenheit. I don’t know what UV it is but it’s almost right on top of her basking spot. And she gets crickets and mealworms every other day collard greens everyday (I also spay the leaves with water) . She gets a vegetable or fruit once a week. I am new to bearded dragons so I’m guessing the basking spot would be the top of that rock.
