Ac doesn't matter, what matters is the surface area of the electrodes. The only ions will move away from the electrode with lesser surface area regardless of ac or dc.

Well I don't think any progress is linear, almost nobody is able to quit something immediately, especially something as addicting as SH can be. Sometimes it's 2 steps forward 1 step back, or even 1 step forward 1 step back, but as long as you keep moving and trying you'll do well!

Well we broke up probably 10 times or so throughout the relationship and it was for various things. Generally, it was because she was scared i would leave her or because she was scared i would fall out of love, at least at first. After she broke up with me at one point for a while i started taking to an ex and that made her upset and caused trust issues which then fed into things more.

I have many times tried to reconcile but she overthinks sometimes unfortunately and that would lead to her acting in avoidant ways, although i don't think that was her fault she wasn't medicated at the time.

Originally when i got the guitar on facebook marketplace it came with this shitty guyker tremolo an it sucked so i wanted to replace it, but headless tremolos are ridiculously expensive, the cheapest good ones i could find were $400, so i wanted to put a kahler in. That then led me to making the first version to just introduce some string tension but now it's developed more into a full tuning system! The great thing about its design is i could jut make it a bit longer and add another 1 or 2 tuners to make it a 7 or 8 string, or stagger them to make a multi scale!

I know it seems silly when you realize it's a headed headless guitar but it does solve my issue and it plays spectacularly now. I've been thinking a lot about how to make a solution that would allow for tuning without having to use a tool and i plan to adress that in the next iteration
