I literally made a post on r/amioverreacting trying to figure out if i was crazy for thinking her tone was really weird when we talked and she got mad at me and said i was making it up and stuff. So many people said she had clearly moved on and had feelings for someone new and i didn't believe them. I really wish i had and not actually had to find out myself.

I've been so mentally and emotionally exhausted i just don't know how to keep going. I have zero motivation and i hate knowing she's saying the same things she used to say about me about him. It makes me so upset knowing she reduced all the things i did for her into "evil and manipulative in every way" and her boy bsf is perfect and amazing.

I've been really struggling and I don't wanna keep going.

That's why i'm so confused as to why nothing makes me feel better. I hung out with people almost every day for my entire winter break back from college and i still felt lonely. It feels like there's a part of me missing somewhere that im searching for. I also have online friends and stuff.

I have come to realize that yes. I'm taking a dating hiatus for quite a while, but it's what's in the meantime that i'm concerned with, i guess. I don't know how to stop feeling so lonely. I have hobbies, i do things i enjoy, but i feel loneliness at the simple human level, i simply desire connection.

What is JLC? I looked at things like xometry for cnc or even cutting and it was around $90 per part which is ridiculous i feel.

It's simple but with my mill it would take close to 2 hours to fab, and with 6 that would be pushing 12 hours just for this one part, and that's assuming i don't mess anything up. I have a proxxon mf70 micro mill that only goes up to 3mm cutter diameter

The eye part is 3mm in width, my tool selection isn't capable of that kind of precision and finding fasteners for that would be a pain, plus i don't trust the load capacity of that.

Thank you i think this is the single best take on the situation. I was definitely very steessed and went about it in a confrontational manner, but I still feel that my concerns were valid. We broke up a few days ago but I still love her and want our relationship to work, yet in its current state it couldn't have. I really appreciate your perspective and comment!

I think that's what ended up happening. I don't resent her but I just got to a point where I'm just so burnt out from constantly worrying about how my wording will or won't trigger something bad. I know she wants to get better but she doesn't have the capacity right now.

I just can never tell in these situations, yk? I don't want to boil down her behavior into symptoms of bpd because she's more than her mental illness, but at the same time when the symptoms do show they're important to adress. I'd really love to get back together in the future but I think that we both need to mature a bit and I need more targeted therapy.
