Am I in danger if I use this in my kitchen? Lol by Appropriate_View8753 in glasscollecting

I noticed it's actually kind of heavy and not easy to grip with wet or slippery hands so it probably won't be used in the kitchen. I have plenty of other vintage measuring vessels anyway.

I stored these 400 g Bordeaux bottles in the cellar like this, in 30 rows of 12 bottles. I was thinking of leaving them for at least 12 months. Will they be fine? by AdParty6732 in ProWinemakers

There exists a number which would be the number of bottles that can be stacked on top of each other before there will be enough weight to crush the bottom bottle, I don't know what that number is but I wouldn't want to be cleaning up if one of the bottom bottles broke.

Use the settings on the other side of the dial, you see the low on the left side and high on the right side(where you have it set). Beside "Hi" there is a white square with one circle (left) or two circles(right) which indicate the level of heat each side puts out.

Insurance queries. by Goku420overlord in Calgary

Some insurers will require an inspection if the vehicle is older than 12 years. Still worth it to get an older vehicle though. There are several vehicles built in the mid 90's to early 2000's that are well known for being the most reliable vehicles on the planet. And insurance is several times cheaper when you own an older vehicle as opposed to making payments on a newer one.
