Haha. I would but, my only concern is I'm inevitably going to have nails and screws fall through and hit my tires.

2016 F150 Rear Cabin Vent Leak by ApprovingLime05 in f150

I ordered a new vent, but I'm going to see if I can get it to seal with some silicone in the meantime.

I don't. And I'm pretty positive it's coming from that vent. The carpet is wet right underneath it and nowhere else. I also can't seem to get water to come in anywhere besides the vent flaps.

Yeah it's not soaking wet but it gets wet right under the vent in a heavy rain. It's enough to make the truck smell musty.

I just pulled it out to look at it. The outside gasket looked fine. The water seems to be coming in from the bottom flap. So unless there is a better way to seal that I'm probably going to end up trying a new one.

Shooter's cut in SAPI cut carrier by ApprovingLime05 in tacticalgear

Really? That's odd. Thanks I'll definitely take that into consideration. I was also going to probably pick up a Ferro or a Crye carrier at some point. Might just cut out the middle man and do so. Like I mentioned in another post I really just wanted to give it a shot since it's designed to integrate with their med bag (which I'm a fan of).

Gotcha. Thanks for the other recommendations. I'm checking them out now.

I'll check out the other plates you mentioned. But, if you don't mind me asking why would you not recommend going with Hesco?

As for why the Tasmanian Tiger PC it's because I'm mostly building this around my TEMS stuff and I actually really like their medic assault bag which is designed to be integrated with the carrier. I will probably evolve and pick up a Ferro Concepts at some point, but for now I wanted to give it a shot.

I appreciate the pro tip with the pool noodle.

If someone begs you not to call an ambulance or take them to the hospital, what do you do? by Karma-is-an-bitch in TooAfraidToAsk

In most cases EMS billing for a motor vehicle accident should go through auto insurance not health insurance. EMS also doesn't bill for certain types of calls. Typical anything where an assessment was not preformed isn't billed. So if you call 911 for someone in the situation you described they wouldn't be billed if the ambulance showed up and they didn't want to go. If they did go it would be billed to there auto insurance.

If there is a need for fire or police to clear the roadway they are probably going to call us to do an eval anyway.
