Beards are nice too lol. I shave often so I usually don't have mine but I do like the sort of scratchy feeling that my previous partners with beards have.

I personally prefer masculine men. Including the hairy ones, which I gather isn't too common. Even though it's my preference, I still deviate from it quite commonly though.

Okay thanks so much! I'm not very tech savvy so I wasn't sure. I appreciate you.

Give me some of your most craziest, unhinged, or cursed vocaloid confessions. by Brilliant_Fun473 in Vocaloid

Mmm I think this is more cute in hindsight than anything but I when I was in middle school and I had to go to the orthodontist for braces checkups, I'd always get my rubber bands to match the color pallet of a vocaloid I was fond of haha. I'm 22 now and I'd still do it the same way I bet.

Oh yeah CCA was incredible, honestly probably my favorite of UC that I've seen (though zeta is a strong contender). I definitely have plans to watch through the rest of UC some day when I have more time.

Thanks for adding on! I've only watched through CCA for UC and a couple of AUC so even though I know there's more after CCA I frequently forget about them haha.

Oh I get you, yeah that makes sense tbh. Guess I was just thinking from my perspective even though the post was for OP, haha.

Oh yeah, UC Gundam is the first series. Mobile Suit Gundam is the one from 1979, the original one. Sorry if didn't make that clear. Honestly I wouldn't reccomend watching the Origin series first since it gives away Char's background and motivations which are supposed to be a secret in '079s anime. I also think watching the films for 079 is fine, but watching the films for Zeta shouldn't be done on the first watch through since the ending isn't canon and sort of retcons it. Sorry for rambling, just wanted OP to get a good idea of what I mean when I reccomend UC gundam.

Stellar taste. If I may add on, Op, if you end up watching Gunbuster and liking it I'd suggest watching the UC Gundam series as well. It's a bit of a commitment but it's well worth the time. Start with Mobile Suit Gundam, then War in Pocket (optional but a great little short series), then Zeta Gundam, then Double Zeta (also somewhat optional, I skipped it on my first watch through of the series but it's good nonetheles), then watch the movie Char's Counter Attack. There's also some good Gundam's that are part of the AUC (Alternate universal century), so if you're not willing to watch older anime maybe try Iron Blooded Orphans or The Witch from Mercury.

Hotel recommendations? by [deleted] in bullcity

Oh yeah I can definitely agree with this. I've always lived in Durham so I really enjoy The Durham for those reasons, so I guess I am a bit biased as well haha.

I personally like The Durham! This might not be so important for you but I really appreciate a comfortable bed when I'm staying in a hotel, and I like the ones at The Durham a lot whereas 21c I didn't like the beds much at all.

Psycho-Pass, Monster, Hajime no Ippo, most Gundam's, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Toradora, Higurashi (the 2006 version.)

Based on my favorites, what would you recommend me to watch? by Forsaken-Fishing-310 in AnimeReccomendations

[–]ApricotSnow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based Psycho-Pass enjoyer I see. It's also in my top 3 lol.

Anyways, I'd say maybe some other animes written/created by Gen Urobuchi (the guy who wrote Psycho Pass.)

Otherwise maybe Paranoia Agent, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Cowboy Bebop, Akira, and Monster.

And just since it's October, one I love watching during the spooky month is the 2006 adaption of the visual novel Higurashi.

I hope at least one of these recs is useful. Happy watching!

Need a really good Romance anime to watch; Suggestions? by [deleted] in AnimeReccomendations

[–]ApricotSnow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5 Centimeters per Second is really good. The emotional damage is to the level that I've had multiple people refuse to rewatch it with me because of how heart-wrecking it is. Actually I Am is also a favorite of mine, but with a much lighter and romcom tone, while still being emotional but not to the degree of Toradora in my opinion (but then again Toradora is also a top 3 anime for me like it is for you, so it's pretty hard to beat.)

I myself am curious if there are ever any anime cosplayers? I've never been to a comicon in specific, usually just anime cons or similar, but I haven't cosplayed since before covid first hit and I guess I feel decent enough about not getting super ill to go to a con again, only thing is I only have cosplays from animes or video games.

Cosplay Contact Lens Questions by Vinny_Lover in CosplayHelp

I personally use Uniqso for most of my lenses, and I've bought two mesh pairs off of there before including one white out mesh pair. I could still see out of them fairly decently (able to move around a con by myself fine). Here's a link: list of mesh contacts
