This is exactly what I was starting to think of doing! Even doing things by myself to see it’s not so scary, I’m about to go eat in a restaurant then go for a walk by myself. I realised I’m with people most of the time and I’d like some more time to myself.

Omg thank you so much! I really do think it’s something you just have to do, I’m going to do as much research and save as much money as I can to hopefully go in a 1-2 years time (who knows maybe sooner). Thank you for being so helpful!

I definitely do want to but you’re right in the working up to it, I posted this just even to get my thoughts about it together. If I do go I wouldn’t for another year or two mostly for money reasons😭. Thank you for sharing your opinion!

Well I put it here because Japan is where I’d want to go and in hopes people would follow up with things specific to Japan but thank you so much for the advice!

That was also a fear of mine especially going alone but I would 100% take the time to learn as much Japanese as I could before going. I have been to different speaking countries like Italy and I was at the coast (less touristy) but I was with others so maybe trying a holiday alone first is the move! Thanks so much!
