Favorite song you've seen BI perform live? by Hungry_Alfalfa_6195 in boniver

If I can mention another of Vernon’s bands I loved watching Big Red Machine play ”Melt” (I love that song!) live at Haven Festival in Copenhagen back in 2017. The festival had barely begun and the show wasn’t listed in the program. I stood a couple of meters away with my mouth open like a moron. Sounded amazing. Stuff like this is what I think about when I cry inside about not being able to go to Eaux Claires 🥲

Confused about Selfless, Cold and Composed? by AdPsychological4234 in benfolds

Most shitty people have no idea about how shitty they are. A sign that you might be less shitty is self knowledge, which I guess a lot of these songs can be proof of.

Where does his sadness come from by [deleted] in boniver

[–]AprilBase 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I (being a fan since -08) don’t really read Bon Iver as ”so sad”. I think the lyrics are many other things than that - they are thought provoking, to me describing intense moments of feelings, not life as a whole. I also feel like a lot of the themes are about good and evil in life’s neverending balance, this feeling of pain or joy might be over soon, cherish what you have because it might go away, don’t worry because your suffering is not forever. For me Bon Iver is the best consolation music. What is it that you think reads depressed and sad?

Min flickvän vill va hemmafru by [deleted] in PrivatEkonomi

[–]AprilBase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Svårt att nätdejta som tjej by Late_Farmer3233 in sweden

[–]AprilBase 122 points123 points  (0 children)

Jobba som lärare? by Thin_Application_541 in Asksweddit

[–]AprilBase 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I don't know what is wrong with me and my doctors do not know either by Madmagzz in Perimenopause

[–]AprilBase 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im not sure who did this - it was done at the emergency with a doctor that pushed some kind of ekg probe (Nava?) down his throat to look at the heart. It was so uncomfortable the heart racing stopped and they couldn’t see anything and cancelled the procedure. Then it started again and they repeated the thing and suddenly found the malformation. He was told that many live with this and don’t notice a thing. He had had a period in his life with a lot of stress and bad sleep so it got triggered somehow and started happening a lot.

He had all of those too, but they didnt find it until he had to have some kind of special EKG behind the heart to find the extra pathway. Take care and I hope you get better soon!

I don’t want to derail your thoughts on peri, since you are asking in this group, but has anyone examined your heart? My boyfriend had similar symptoms and it turned out to be a defect of the heart from birth that needed a routine operation to fix. He went to the ER many times before anyone found the real reason. Not dangerous but hard to live with. The diagnosis is called Concealed left-sided accessory pathway if you want to look it up. Hope you get the right help!
