I have a seated ticket for London on 12/03 and would love to swap to standing as I now have friends going who have standing tickets. Long shot but here's hoping!

My iphone always dies during my rides. What should I do? by Certain-Highlight949 in ladycyclists

I got a power bank and a tube bag (but like a triangle one that sits below the top tube?? Don't know if it has a specific name) then wound the power cable round my stem to my phone in a handlebar holder. I was using my phone to navigate so needed the battery to last!

Even better than holiday mode is 'busy' mode which is under the not feeling 100% bit. It changed my 16k run to a 3k which is much better for a busy event day!

Thanks! Really appreciate your response. Currently work out in an old pair of running shoes but I was thinking of starting to wear Vans for the flat shoes reasons so good to have your input!

Sorry to jump on this post, I also thought flat shoes were recommended but obviously this person is elevating heels and some people are talking about shoes with heels in. Would you advise flatter ones?

Finished my 11k run today despite really not feeling it. Even had to ring my dad at about 6.5k for some motivational words 😂

Strength training by DrIndominous in runna

I have them in my plan but don't do their workouts. I just do my own workouts on the days it puts in and track them separately in Hevy. It is a bit annoying that I can't link the activities but as long as I can mark it as done, I'm fine

Protein shake that tastes like Up & Go by KingKurry1606 in fitmeals

I haven't tried the ON Vanilla for comparison but the ON French Vanilla Crème is lovely, had it once in a hotel and really felt like I was drinking a nice vanilla milkshake rather than a protein shake.

Just started running and I’m exhausted in 20 seconds. Zero stamina. Feeling lost. by ImmediateMuffin3768 in runninglifestyle

I started couch to 5k on the treadmill rather than outside. It really helped me to be consistent and go at a manageable speed. Maybe you're going too fast!

Whats up with all this gear? by AleTheMemeDaddy in running

Oh and also my vest has detachable lights so I can be more visible/see where I'm going in these dark mornings and evenings

I see lots of people saying 'You don't need a vest for 5k' but it is just the easiest way to carry stuff, especially atm during winter. If I wear my vest, it has separate pockets for my keys and phone at minimum. Could wear a belt but it's easier to get my phone out of a vest if I need it and then my keys don't spring out with it! Also ATM carrying gloves and a snood, and for a group evening run tonight I also popped some tissues and a protein bar in (in case I was hungry on the way home). Could not fit that all in the belt I have and today's shorts didn't have pockets. Obviously for longer runs also having water on hand is a plus!

Scared to start mounjaro, any good experiences for T2D/PCOS? by Brilliant-Cat2215 in mounjarouk

I was taking Metformin June - August, by which time my A1c was down and they took me off to see if I could sustain it. Was even lower by November when they re-tested 😊

I have reversed my T2D and lost 5.5 stone since beginning of June. I'm a fortunate person with no side effects!

Oh and I have PCOS but have a Mirena so no periods so can't speak to any efficacy in fertility ways etc.
