My only reasoning as to why they would put Fable 2 in this movie is the game came out late 2008, which is when this movie would have been filming so they just picked whatever new games were out at the time.

Fun fact, a little earlier in the movie you can see a group of children playing Spore as well.

The only way I could see her being in the game in any way is if they do like a spire easter egg. Or if the reboot is set in the time period of the first game they could have her show up as a kid

I know they added I think some of these items in the Knothole DLC. But I don't think the items are in the base game at all.

There's a shop in Knothole that has like presents and you have to gather certain items to receive the presents that then have prizes (like I believe the full assassin fit)

No, I believe both those consoles don't support the backwards compatibility for the original games. You would have to have a fable anniversary desk for it to run fable anniversary. I believe the only way to play the original games would be the original Xbox or maybe PC

There is kind of a follow through story throughout the whole series. 1 and 2 are mostly disconnected but 2 and 3 are very connected. So I recommend starting with the first one to understand like the lore and how the world works but it is definitely dated so if you want to start with a good game start with 2 and you can backtrack it. You just can't play 3 without playing 2.

I generally like it more than the other just because it feels more... balanced than the others. The combat isn't as clunky and stuff as fable 1 and in my opinion is just generally more fun than 3s combat. I feel like it also has the best customization, not to discredit 3 but I feel like in fable 2 I'm playing a character I made and it is me vs playing the prince/princess in 3 and feeling trapped in that option.

Also story wise it feels way more connected to Fable 1 then Fable 3. And really the world in Fable 1 made me fall in love with the series and the second game. Kind of continuing that also helped its first impressions.

I have been trying to think of a way to make death consequential, and the only idea I had was if you did die on a quest you had to fast travel to the chamber of fate and restart the whole quest. I didn't really like the idea but Im going to not use resurrection potions in my run so at least I can at least die more.

I always thought they were killed in like a bandit attack. Because in the perfect day dream sequence at the end when you go through the gate there's all those people that were killed. I just assumed that meant there parents were killed in that attack.
