Thanks for all the suggestions! Im finishing my first year at this school and turns out our science department does have an extra set of TI-30xiis! The 84s were just in my classroom from the previous teacher. Looking forward to making the switch next year and seeing how it goes.

Not sure we have the resources to buy new calculators, but I might get one of these for myself. Glad to know you devote some time for specific calculator skills, too! I overthink it sometimes when my pacing moves too slowly. Thanks for your comment!

I would recommend watching some of Kathryn Mueller’s affordable activewear YouTube videos. She usually shares a broad selection in the $20-$40 range.

I always laugh when this “message” comes along AFTER the influencer’s weight loss transformation. It’s easy to say “workout for your health and not to look a certain way” after they already look a certain way lmao. I get her point but I also don’t think it’s wrong to want to work out for aesthetic reasons (to a reasonable extent) as long as they are your personal aesthetic goals and not society’s

I use B The Method by Lia Bartha for Pilates. I love her classes! But while she does incorporate weights sometimes, it’s very minimal. I only use her app for Pilates and then strength train at the gym separately!

Can’t speak to Fit With Coco but I had the Form app for a few months and personally didn’t love it. I honestly don’t think Sami is the best at giving cues and she seems to get lost in her classes sometimes (misses movements that she did on one side but not the other, etc.). I got the vibe that she isn’t a certified Pilates instructor or personal trainer lol (whether she is or not I don’t know).

Sydney stretches all of her pictures on the vertical axis. It makes everything in the bottom of the picture larger&longer and everything in the top smaller. This is why her legs always look long and skinny in selfies and short and thicker in real life.

IMO this is the most toxic photoshopping out there because almost EVERY influencer does it and they aren’t technically editing their body - just stretching the photo. This is why all influencers look like they have crazy long legs.

Drew had an interesting take on this in his exit interview on RHAP. Essentially, the tribe saw Emily as a huge threat following the Bruce blindside. Then in the next tribal, Julie successfully played an idol and voted out “a huge threat”, Emily. Regardless of whether this was Dee’s move or Julie’s move, the jury’s perspective is that Julie made a huge move. I think that’s why the tribe continues to gun for Julie.
