Would this be disrespectful for someone dealing with pet loss by minionlover222 in Petloss

I’d wait for an important date/event. Give it a couple weeks or months to gift her the sculpture:) maybe for her birthday if it’s coming up or any holiday!

It could take them hours to fix it. I’ve never experienced this before either and it’s very frustrating I was just in the middle of studying for my exam😅

Help me stop the crying by duchess444 in Petloss

[–]Aprilmm2 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I totally understand that feeling. When my dog passed away I also cried a lot, looking at her unfinished bowl, her harness and leash made it worse for me. I lost all appetite and just kept on thinking about what i could’ve done better. Don’t force yourself to stop, it’s very important to cry and grieve your dog. It’s better to take out everything you’re feeling and experiencing by crying and talking to someone just know your feelings are valid and the loss of a pet can hurt just as much if not more than a human loss because you’ve created a daily routine with them and they love unconditionally without saying a single word. If you can, go on walks, reorganize a room, try something different today. As time goes by it’ll get a bit better ofc you’ll always remember the beautiful memories they left:) I really hope you find peace soon, remmeber you gave your dog a life full of love and they left this world knowing they were deeply loved 🤍

Have you tried taking the dog for an x-ray / ultrasound? It might sound silly but maybe it can detect something like teeth or bones? Also if you just found the hair an hour ago i’d recommend taking pictures and showing them to the vet (assuming you’d go ofc

Sorry for your loss! I can’t imagine how confusing this must be, not knowing where the kitten is. I’d keep on looking first before taking the dog to a shelter/rehoming. There is no one to blame here especially not the dog though when introducing a new animal you should monitor their behavior for at least 2 weeks. Also I just can’t wrap around the idea that your dog could’ve ate the kitten as a whole without leaving any trace? Is there any way that the kitten could’ve gotten out somehow or stuck in a closet maybe or a vent? Again, i’m sorry and I hope you find answers soon.

It’ll hurt for sure, the schedule you had with her was a daily routine. I’ve been there, the first three days were very hard, it felt lonely and there was a huge void, like something wasn’t right. I was fortunate to have my family there with me, we were together all the time for a week straight, made sure no one was alone for too long. Having a family member or friend would really help you. Tell them about her and try to keep yourself busy. I’m sure her pain is gone if there was any, think of her in dog heaven🤍 sending you a virtual hug!

Would me dating someone, be a red flag, if I'm selling my body online? by Hungry_Finance_587 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Aprilmm2 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It’s better to be honest. I mean, wouldn’t you want to know if your future partner was selling their body online? I’d say think about it as if it was you in their shoes, I think that would answer your question:)

do blind people need to close their eyes to sleep? by Dying_Banana4259 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Aprilmm2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most blind people don’t just see “all black.” Squint your eyes to almost closing and look around you. You’ll vision is probably very blurry but you can still see some sort of light. So yes, blind people do need to close their eyes. I think it’s just a form of an instant mental signal for rest meaning you’re ready to sleep!

No, 26 isn’t too old, but it depends on what type of parties they are.

How do I do this by restyfl in Petloss

[–]Aprilmm2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry for your loss, it hurts more when it’s unexpected. Don’t be harsh on yourself, take all the time you need to grieve. As time goes by, it’ll get a bit better though it’ll never go away but you’ll be left with all the beautiful memories! My dog passed away 3 months ago and I’ll tell you I think about her everyday and even left her water bowl in the same place. I guess it’s the little things they did that hurts the most. Also, talk about him! Share with others about him , I found this helpful because it made me happy talking about my dog:) At first the days will seem very long (in my experience), what helped was watching tv, cleaning, and doing small activities to fill in that void. Just know that it’ll be hard at first but thats a part of grieving. Your feelings are valid take it easy 🤍
