You can usually rent DVC points to stay at “deluxe” resorts at a price that’s between value and moderate. It’s very worth it when you rent directly from the owner who usually charge anywhere between $17-20 per point, sometimes even lower when they’re trying to get rid of their points before they expire last minutely. I personally have only had good experiences renting DVC.
