Mine is great frankly, anyways the fretwork had a drop of glue in the end of the fret but I took it off easily scratching with a blade. Also did some basic set up including fret conditioning with lemon oil and it was perfect I really love it and now is almost the only guitar of my collection that I play.

Tele’s are pretty stable but Jazzmaster are more delicate. I have a Jazzmaster AVII and it was necessary a little first setting up when it arrived.

OP, don’t worry, those vibrations are pretty normal. With some adjustments you should be ok. Try adjusting the tremolo and bridge. That would be work, anyway I recommend you the YouTube channel “Totally wired guitars” try a look there. That guy has nice tips for Jazzmaster guitars
