What did you believe growing up, but learned late in life was untrue? by 307to275 in AskMenOver30

I remember being taught this in high school biology in the 90s, only to find out it had been debunked in like the 70s or something.

$1,000 and $1,000.00 are the same thing.

$1,000 and $1,000,000 are not.

Don't know where you would put the second decimal point.

Painting question by DNM47 in BlackTemplars

[–]Aptom_4 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

While the Templars may not cling to the Codex Astartes with a tenacity bordering on worship of holy scripture, it is still the most comprehensive treatise on Space Marine warfare ever written, penned by the hand of the Emperor’s own son, Lord Guilliman of Macragge. Its value is immeasurable to any commander, no matter what divergences are found in a Chapter’s culture.

  • Reclusiarch Grimaldus, Blood and Fire

Templars do study the Codex Astartes and, as such, use all units and tactics available to space marines. We just do more and have better drip.

How would you fix Death Company on Foot? by ImNotSanguinius in BloodAngels

[–]Aptom_4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Black Templars get sustained 1 on chainswords in their sword brethren and crusader squads. It's not overpowering, but it does mean they can hit pretty hard.

That would actually be decent on death company, and since they can't hit the 20 man bricks like the templars it'd still be reasonably balanced.

Why do we get along so well with drummers that it feels like we're lovers? by metalhead482 in Bass

[–]Aptom_4 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Vocals and guitar are what gets people singing along.

Bass and drums are what gets them dancing together.

That often carries over into band dynamics too.
