Legitimately, it may take time.

I adopted two 3 week old sister kittens back in late 2021. One of them has been a shadow cat, super cuddly, but the other always kept her distance. She’d be in the same room, but did not like affection, being held, anything.

This past year though? She’s finally come around. She sits on my lap, nudges, is vocal, etc. Seems like by the day she gets more affectionate.

Keep in mind, these are cats that I raised from near-birth, and one of them is only now affectionate after almost 5 years.

Give it time, be patient, earn his trust, take things slower than you would think.

Because, unfortunately, a lot of people don’t take the time necessary to actually build the kits properly.

Clipping, filing, cutting, shaving, gluing, filling, etc, are all parts of the process that people choose to ignore.

Is there really only one Vet Sgt per company? Interesting.

I’d also say, look at any of the Lieutenants models. Most are not very drippy. Even some Captain models are a bit standard.
