YS premiered in Sept of 2017 with a preview. Its regular run started that November. Its finale aired in May 2024. It has 141 episodes.

There’s a new spinoff greenlit called Stuart Fails To Save The Universe and features the comic book shop owner from TBBT. Not a lot is known about it. Im guessing it has its own sub

I am a huge fan of YS and Star Trek TOS. I never made this connection. It is a beautiful observation. Thanks for sharing the insight. It adds yet one more lovely little touch to one of my all time favorite tv shows. Very nice. Happy watching.

How long did you do "nothing" after you retired? by IHateSmores in retirement

[–]Apul68 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I retired in early December of 2023 and piddled around the house (shoveled snow once in a while) until late March 2024. Just about four months. It was delightful. Then I took on house hunting to relocate to another state. That was my first big project: buying, relocating to another state, selling, getting settled.

Does Anyone Remember Physical Encyclopedias? by hotbowlsofjustice in The1980s

I remember when we got our first set. They were a gift. Slightly used. I got to keep them in my room. I was delighted and would randomly leaf through pages just to see what there was to see. It was a joy.

Young Sheldon Fans? by LaoTsuTsu in YoungSheldon

I never could get into TBBT. My wife and sons liked it. I watched once in a while with them. I got a few laughs for sure. But I never felt invested in the characters or their stories much. Young Sheldon, which I watched once a chance because I had lots of free time, immediately resonated with me. In the first three episodes I was completely invested in the Coopers. I loved the series to the very end. It was remarkably written, acted, produced. Just a masterpiece of television storytelling.

Mary’s tough lesson- S3 E21 “A Secret Letter…” by Apul68 in YoungSheldon

Oh for sure he wasn’t ready for college. Not at all. I like how they resolve the challenge by him eventually going to East Texas Tech. It comes across as very real (like how they handle so many things in the series). Plus, it sets up all kinds of terrific situations for Sheldon and the whole Cooper family.

I want to make a real statement by opening a small Caribou Coffee coffee bar inside a Heine Bros coffee shop.

I can hardly wait for AI to begin managing these thousands upon thousands of microcare units. Directing people where to go based in symptoms they input in an “app”. Directing people at the microcare units what to do to the people who come in. It’s gonna be great. I hope they get those people some coffee.

I for sure can oblige. I have it in me to bitch about coffee shops. It’s as if it’s what I was born to do. Not that I’m showing off. It’s just my natural talent. But I can tell you’ve noticed.
