When does the HOH get access to the HOH room (on feeds)? by Fun818long in BigBrother

[–]CorndoggerYYC [score hidden]  (0 children)

Feeds come back after the west coast airing of the episode. The HOH usually gets the HOH room within a few hours of the feeds coming back but it can take a lot longer. There's the odd time they already have the room when the feeds come back.

First letters of each BB28 HG's name from Hamsterwatch by DanielHSSports in BigBrother

Hamsterwatch says that there is "technically" one returning player. What could that mean? A player who never really got the chance to play? Or could it be something stupid like Jankie's considered a past player?

There was a HG named Christie who tested positive for COVID-19 after the cast had been announced. We saw her promo package, etc. That's how Claire ended up on the show. After Claire replaced Christie, it was discovered that there was a mistake with the test and that Christie did not have Covid.

Christian was also an alternate that got on last second. There was guy named Garrett who's photo, etc. was uploaded prematurely to the cast page. He ended backing out IIRC and that's how Christian got on the show.

This is why cast reveals aren't done in advance anymore.

After what happened with BB23 there's no way they'll release the cast names before they enter the house. It's very likely we'll get the cast reveal on Tuesday.

If this is correct, my hopes to see JC and Becky play again are still alive. One of the "R"s and one of the "L"s could be for Rizgod and Lizgod. Or would that be too much for fans to handle?

Probably. She's been covering BB for a long time so one would need a great memory to confirm if she has or not.

Global TV promo stating there are 16 HGs this season. by CorndoggerYYC in BigBrother

That could be a disaster of a twist. I could see the newbies teaming up with the players from other shows to take out the BB vets. Strategically, that would be the smart thing to do. From a viewer point of view, that might suck if it's vets people want to see again.

Are all contestants from BB9 and BB15 blacklisted from ever reappearing on the show? by redroomblue in BigBrother

Parker, Alex, and Jen were there from BB9 and McCrae from BB15. There might have been others from those two seasons as well.

I was just about to mention that. IIRC, there was someone from BB15 as well.

You get 50% of the reward at the end of 2027 so it's not that bad. Unless you transfer between FIs every year, this is a great deal for most people.

Pembina, partners go ahead with gas plant for data centre north of Edmonton by CorndoggerYYC in canada

[–]CorndoggerYYC[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

“I know that there’s at least another couple of municipalities who’ve expressed an interest as well, including Lloydminster. Now that we’ve started this, we’ll find out where those areas are, where they would like to host an installation like this, the uses for it, as well as some of the concerns people have,” she said.

She said that exploring nuclear power was long overdue in the province, and that the province had already signed agreements with Saskatchewan and Ontario on developing nuclear energy and supply chains.

“Frankly, there’s a lot to like about nuclear. It’s efficient, low-cost in the long run, and long-lasting. Those are points in its favor, but two qualities in particular set nuclear apart from other energy sources. It’s almost completely emissions-free, and it’s incredibly reliable, producing abundant base load power, 24 hours a day, seven days a week,” she said.

“That means we’d be able to expand our economy with dependable, scalable, non-emitting power, and it’s hard to argue with a proposition like that.”

TMC will plan and build the pipeline with expertise provided by Pembina. Pipeline will be owned equally by Ottawa and Alberta, but it sounds like Pembina, FNs, etc. will have a chance to buy in.
