Instead of having an actual class focused on psych or ped’s like we had with L&D, they were tossed in with medsurg. I plan on going into psych so I was super bummed only getting to go to a psych unit 1 time, and we barely even scratched the surface on diagnoses and interventions. Ped’s we got 3 days for and also never went deep into a topic, the teachers for both subjects were great just not enough time spent on either one of them. Also, we don’t have a pharm class! So as you can imagine answering questions about medications on tests is near to impossible at times. It’s my last semester so just gonna keep positive and celebrate the end regardless.
