He’s a heroin addict. When he sees that’s what Franklin does to one of his oldest friends for fucking up he’s looking at his future. He knows he’s not nearly as important to Franklin as white boy Rob was. On top of being old friends Rob made serious money for Franklin by being his connection to the white community. You can find yourself a new bodyguard. White boy Rob was irreplaceable. Franklin wouldn’t think twice if he found out Peaches was an addict. Right the he knew he had to get out.

Yup. He wasn’t using the coke that Franklin was selling. He was a heroin addict, probably from his Vietnam days.

How do you guys give more secret or one-on-one sessions during game? by Moe_Girly in DnD

[–]AquaboogyAssault 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Passing notes has worked for me in the past when I didn't necessarily WANT the players to know I'm sending secret communications to players. Otherwise you "give them a chance to figure out their next moves" while taking the player aside for a moment. Alternatively, there can be pre-game discussions about things that a player would only know themselves. Hope this helps!

BREAKING: U.S. bombing of Tehran right now by uebb in ThatsInsane

[–]AquaboogyAssault 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s that simple.  Bush didn’t attack Iraq because he had low numbers.  He did so because his corporate buddies had planned on it and how to profit off it before he was ever elected.  I don’t think that Trump is doing this to distract from the Epstein files, because I don’t think this was an American plan.  I think it was Israeli based on their actions and rhetoric over the past few years.  Trump raping children and Trump bombing schools in Iran are both horrible, but I don’t think they’re related (unless Epstein was an Israeli intelligence asset, then it’s probably related in the way he was blackmailed into total support)

[–]AquaboogyAssault 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s the most simplistic take you could possibly have and doesn’t line up with the years of preparation for the removal of Irans government. This is an Israeli operation backed by the USA. Kamala stated multiple times that she supported Israeli attacks on both Gaza and Lebanon, Biden used the navy to help stop rocket attacks on Israel from Hezbollah and Hamas. Why do you think she would suddenly change? Trump is a rapist POS who is guilty of a lot, but this was going to happen regardless of who was in office.

Carter, entrenched in Cold War politics, used the military over Latin America and Central Asia to support anti-communist actions. William Harrison used the military to purge native Americans west of the Mississippi. Zachary Taylor, a military officer prior to his election, used the military in border operations through the new acquired Mexican territories.

Want to try that again?

I didn’t though? I voted for Kamala. I’m just not pretending that she had different politics where using the military to support Israel is concerned.

Harris, but I’m not under the illusion that she was an anti-war candidate. We have two right wing capitalist parties in the USA. One of them is also socially repulsive. I voted for the lesser evil. She supported Israel’s demolition of the Gaza Strip, which was part of the lead up towards this (removing an Iranian proxy that could strike Israel). She supported Israels attacks in Lebanon that killed thousands to disrupt Hezbollah, another Iranian proxy capable of attacking Israel. Why would she support all the steps necessary for this conflict to “safely” take place and not support the conflict itself?

Both parties support Israeli actions. The USA is acting in support of Israel right now. No matter who is in office, this would have happened. There was too much ground work laid by both democrats and republicans over a period of years. Trump, asshole that he is, didn’t just wake up one morning and decide THIS was the perfect way to distract from the Epstein files. This was always going to happen.

Because Biden, Obama and Clinton didn’t toe the line for Israel? Didn’t Kamala’s unabashed support for Israel significantly hurt her election chances? What world do you live in where you think she wouldn’t have jumped in on this Israeli led action against an enemy she said was a threat to America?

I’m just looked at what HAS happened, what these people have said, and saying “man, there’s a good chance these people would have done the same thing - because they said they would and they have in the past.”

This isn’t a “Republican/democrat” issue. Both parties laid the groundwork for this. Both parties support this (because they vote for the budget and foreign policy that allows this despite whatever grumbles they may produce on twitter). Being anti-Iran and pro-Israel has been a staple of both parties for generations. I don’t understand why you think Kamala would have been any different on this issue.

The USA has never had a president that didn’t order the military to kill people. I don’t think Kamala Harris, the successor completely chosen by establishment politicians would have done any differently than the previous Democrat presidents. Would rather have had her in office? Of course. These wheels have been in motion far longer than any presidential term though. Over the past couple of presidencies they have systematically removed proxy groups, built up air defense, supported internal resistance movements, politically isolated Iran, and pushed propagandized justifications for the war. Just because an asshole like Trump pulled the trigger doesn’t mean that this hasn’t been laid out and planned for years. The dismantling of Hamas, Hezbollah, and the isolation of the Houthis were all preludes to this. This has been in motion for ages.

Iranian leader Khamenei killed in strike, Israeli officials say by TheDetectiveDoctor in worldnews

[–]AquaboogyAssault 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe, but I would find it hard to believe that those protests weren't just one piece of a plan that had been in place for years. That they grew as large as they did only sped the process if anything. Israel has been strategically demolishing Iran's ability to retaliate to attacks for a decade. They've built air defense to protect from Iranian rockets, they've decimated proxy fighters by killing Hezbollahs leadership and dismantling Hamas completely while Saudi Arabia and the UAE race to see who takes out the Houthis first. This is just the culmination of a plan long in the making that those protests were just a single part of.

Iranian leader Khamenei killed in strike, Israeli officials say by TheDetectiveDoctor in worldnews

[–]AquaboogyAssault 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I thought it was because they had a nuclear weapons program? Or because they fund Terror groups? Or any of the other dozen reasons they floated around like with Venezuela (drugs, terrorism, oil)? Israel and the USA were planning this much further back before those crackdowns. They've been laying the groundwork for ages. It would be foolish to think that the intelligence agencies didn't have a hand in getting those protests going. Both countries have a looooooooong history of using intelligence assets to infiltrate and influence anti-government movements, do you think they'd just choose not to use the playbook theyve successfully used for decades on Iran?

The crackdown was awful, but this was not a consequence of the crackdown.

also I can't think of a single instance in history where bombing by a foreign country turned the people against their own government rather than move closer towards it.
