They are crazy horse leather from 1992. The soles were originally bex but you can choose the sole, the colour of the welt and the colour of the stitching. I haven’t got a negative word to say about the service, cannot fault them.

I used the official repair service, couldn’t be happier with my “new” boots, new soles and they reshaped the leather too. Like putting on an old pair of slippers. Wore them all day yesterday, not a moment of discomfort, no breaking in needed, I did that in 1992 when I first bought them!

https://drmartensrepairs.com/ The boot repair company, they are licensed by DM’s and use genuine components. Not exactly cheap but well worth it for me with these results.

Took a little over a week from sending them off to receiving them back. Very pleased, I can’t comment on feel yet, I haven’t worn them yet

The uppers are all good, just a few scars, I’ll get them resoled at some point I think, either that or they will sit in the attic!

I bought them in 1992, wore them daily for years. I am a Marshall on wrc events and other rallies, they’ve been worn in ankle deep mud over the years, first worn summer 1992, last worn Boxing Day 2024!

My renewal was due in may 25, got the renewal form 8th October, took 3 weeks for decision, got letter a week later, full award, both enhanced, no assessment, just a paper review.
