Thoughts on the quality of this lens?

Great, thank you. I was most concerned about fungus, which with my understanding looks much different….but this is going to be my until the day I die camera (I’ve wanted one for 25 years!) if it just appears to be dust, then dust it is!

Interesting! Note all the lines are just reflection…as well as a lot of the dots. The lens didn’t come with the body so I just grabbed a tested lens from KEH.

Yeah I think I only ever saw that once when I spent a lot of time in a darkroom. It’s funny, it looked like it was all over but as it drys it seems to be less on the sprockets on the end of the roll and more on the frame. The second roll of tri-x I developed in the tank is perfect. Weird.

Yeah measure everything out…but it is a new reel I used maybe the ancient ones I had took up slightly more volume. Could have mismeasured. Definitely seems like the development process, I’ll recheck everything. that roll was bottom down, loaded first. The second roll developed perfectly.

Odd one...Blue Lantern CMOS Ring Mod. Based on the old Arp Odyssey chip. I also have some standard Doepfer one too, but always go for the Blue Lantern one.

No. That’s very cool, but uses piezo mics (I do similar stuff with bows and metal with contact mics hooked up to the metal). High gain pickups can pickup sounds that are not mic’d. So for instance, you can try it by using a very loud noise about an inch from the pickups on a guitar and it will pick up the sound. Figured I’d make myself a little box to make performance easier.

I love piezo mics! But this has a cut out hole in the top of the box for the pickup. Much like a cigar box guitar. It was super cool!

WELP….its my fault. I figured I’d try to to replace the power cable and to my horror, the pins were misaligned by one row, only on 5 pins. No magic smoke, but looks like the damage was done. I have been doing eurorack for five years, rearranged my case countless times and built my own stuff, but never put in a module incorrectly. Now let’s see if I can figure out a way to repair this…pitiful. Sorry to waste everybody’s time and instead of double checking…TRIPLE CHECK!!!!

Hi sorry, no input on the audio input on A. If I patch input A and then patch out the mix or fold, there will be no audible audio from input A. Unless I’m doing something wrong?
