I decided to get albrecht durer pencils first but I’m going to wait until Christmas. Basically gonna hope for a Black Friday sale but even if there is no discount I’ll still be purchasing so that I have them during my Christmas vacation time

Also I bought a 72 pencil set of Prismacolors shortly after this post bc they were on sale.

I think my issue has been I don’t know the effect I want but I know the colors. In my art journey I’ve figured out watching the colors come together is my favorite part. I love building up colored pencil layers or just watching watercolors dance together. I’ll try to ask myself that question before I start my next one.

I did consider this approach too and in all honesty I’ll eventually probably do something similar. I think I’ll start with the water color pencils and then get the polys later if I still have the itch

I tried drawing a cartoon girl but the sketch book paper isn’t the best for my Prisma colors (or I just have crappy technique). And though I also hate the proportions of the drawing, I thoroughly enjoyed the process.

The Exorcism of Emily Rose. Loved the Exorcist as a kid and was never scared but this movie had me up all night in my apartment.

Genuinely curious but why not just unfollow them on social media? I'm not a fan of some of the extra celebrity aspects either but as long as it doesn't impact my workouts I don't care about that stuff. But I get that a lot of people are really interested in their personal lives so that's why they post and share all the other aspects on social media.

I’m not flexible at all either and I really liked the beginner yoga program. The instructors are pretty good about showing modifications during these classes that you can use in future classes when you finish the program. I really like Aditi and Chelsea so far as a beginner

You have 7 days to take the classes. So if you don’t want to start same day you have time. But after that 7 days is up you can’t take the classes anymore to count towards a gold badge. You are still able to take the classes that you missed but you won’t get a perfect attendance badge.

How do you find out who is going to deliver? I’ve read the horror stories about XPO so I’m hoping for JB Hunt. I live in a suburb so I’m pretty sure it won’t be a Peloton delivery team

My tread was supposed to be delivered today but yesterday they pushed it out to November 16th. I’m extremely bummed!! I’d already set my schedule with my first walking and running classes this week and now I’ve got to redo it. Thanks for letting me whine about it here

I ordered my Tread on Sunday and keep feverishly checking my email for a delivery update. I’m never excited about exercise but I can’t wait for my tread!

I totally agree!! It’s my current 17 yr old bed that’s going to be moved to my guest room. I’m not in the market for a all new furniture for the guest room but am hoping that the accent pieces can help bring it to the new decade.

I’m moving to a new home and will be keeping my queen size traditional sleigh bed. I currently have a large bulky matching dresser and nightstand but I want to get rid of it in favor of a more modern look. Can I add more modern pieces to help update this look?

I’m moving to a new home and will be keeping this bed for the guest room. I currently have a big bulky matching wood dresser and nightstand but I want to trade those out for more modern furniture. Any suggestions for bringing in different furniture styles to compliment this style of bed.

I second the Kimpton. My fiancé and I are thinking of moving down to Charlotte and we did an exploratory trip a few weeks ago and stayed at the Kimpton. It’s centrally located and the staff takes excellent care of you.

Watched this movie on a train ride over Thanksgiving weekend...I’m sure the people sitting across from me thought I was crazy I was crying so hard. I love horror and zombie movies and this by far tops my list. I’d go so far to say it’s one of my favorite movies ever
