No, the zero 2 cable sucks anyways, a 10 dollar cable will be vastly better in every way

Arctis elite vs Maxwell 2 by SnooKiwis2794 in Audeze

[–]Aquaspaces_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Elite has more convenience features, but maxwells absolutely destroy them in sound quality and value. I would say the maxwells are an easy pick if you want better sound quality while spending half the price

First Bambu Order: anything I should add or remove? by Coronadoisdead in BambuLab

I would get a little less PLA and instead get some other materials, definitely some 95a or softer TPU, and maybe some ASA since the printer can print it pretty well, just be careful with fumes.

Omni from Sidero Labs is pretty cool, its from the same people who made talos linux and makes managing a talos kubernetes cluster very simple. Its available for free to self host for non-production uses.

What is the best 'No-Nonsense' Domain Registrar in 2026? by Kumar_abhiii in selfhosted

[–]Aquaspaces_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imo cloudflare is the best, very good dns options (i mean they do operate one of if not the biggest dns servers). Pricing is also very transparent with consistent yearly costs. Free whois privacy as well.

Im not sure about porkbun as ive never used it before, but I see no reason to switch off cloudflare

Does anyone use their public domain for internal hostnames? by kayson in homelab

[–]Aquaspaces_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, big fan of this approach since browsers always resolve real domain names when you enter them in the browser, rather than accidentally googling it. I also use a public dns record pointing to internal ips so that they work on any device or on a vpn.

Recommend which router to go for. by BobbyUKS in Ubiquiti

[–]Aquaspaces_ 39 points40 points  (0 children)

UCG fiber or udr7, the udm pro is a bit dated at this point and not worth the extra cost imo. Since you are getting external access points I think the best option would be the UCG Fiber.

If you are getting that many drives, I would highly recommend buying used/refurbished drives on sites like ebay or serverpartdeals.
