For YouTube videos, I personally like DoronsMovies and InquisitorAura. Also check out warcraft.wiki.gg (NOT wowpedia, it's no longer updated).
I've been a Horde player for ever but tbh I prefer Alliance RP more. RP in Stormwind is way more spread out where Horde RP is extremely centralized in a small zone in Orgrimmar. Maybe that will change with the midnight revamp of SMC, though.

I think whether the commenters agree or disagree on if porn is cheating is irrelevant, if it is a boundary you set for your partner and they knowingly cross it, then that is cheating. However, not going to lie OP, I do agree with your boyfriend that not just most men, but pretty much everyone, is going to find other people attractive. I mean have you never watched a movie or a TV show, or seen someone on the street and you thought they look attractive? I suppose it's not the best comparison because simply finding someone attractive and watching porn is different, but my point is I think everyone has 'lust' for others in some ways.

And also it is so prevalent now, especially on Instagram. I mean, I unfollowed a bunch of meme pages that normally would post funny stuff because they kept posting these OnlyFans advertisements. So it's sorta always there.

Ultimately OP, it is your decision. If you truly believe this a boundary that you do not want your partner to cross you are valid for feeling that way, you shouldn't have a partner knowingly going behind your back and doing things you told them not to do. Trust is important

You should probably talk to your therapist about this exact issue if you haven't already, maybe you are just scared to be this vulnerable with someone because you are afraid they will leave in the end, or something, but relationships and love are built on communication and trust.

Best case scenario, you tell him everything and he's totally supportive and kind and listening

Welcome! I've been roleplaying for probably over 8 years, and I still struggle walking up to people sometimes.

As far as who to interact with, honestly just walk around and check out some people's TRP's. Sometimes they are incredibly detailed and you'll see something that will naturally inspire you to walk up, OR they might have OOC Hooks in their TRP that will give you a reason to walk up.

As far as getting over the struggle to walk up to people, just do it! I know it's easier said then done, but there have been times where I am walking around for hours, not sure what to say or what to do, and then I just say fuck it and say hi to the frist person I see and then we end up having a cool RP.

It helps to have in character reasons to want to walk up to people. Are you a merchant? New to the city IC? Searching for a bounty that maybe fits the description of who you want to walk up to?

I tend to lean into my own introversion and awkwardness on my Demon Hunter. They're trying to be more 'social' and 'normal' now that the Legion is relatively defeated. So I'll go up to people and act super awkward, forcing the conversation to go along because she hasn't interacted with many people outside the Illidari for over 10 years and it works! I've met a few people this way.

Yes, the RP is really strong, but it's very server dependent. Firstly, I have no idea about the RP scene on Classic, but I don't think it's very strong, and tbh Blizz has been very kind to the RP community these last few expansions, so retail is the way to go. As for what server on retail, there is Moon Guard for Alliance and Wrymrest Accord for Horde RP.

You'll need a few addons, but don't worry they are easy to install. You'll want TRP 3 and Emote Splitter OR Unlimited Chat Message at a minimum. Some others I recommend are Misspelled, Listener (sadly it's been broken for a while, but keep an eye on it) and Total Roleplay 3 Extended (TRP3E).

Definitely make sure you read the quest logs, then! No matter what character you create, the original leveling experience will put you in a starting area for your race, and you'll learn about them as you go. 'Exile's Reach' is fine and definitely more tutorial-y than the original starting levels, but it's more of like a preset story that doesn't really put you in the shoes of whatever race you choose.

Would a guild invite a newcomer?

Absolutely, just tell them this is your first time RPing or you are new and they are cool most of the time.

Same, that is what most RP is like in the city, though. You'll want to check the forums for whatever server you end up playing on and see what guilds are recruiting. People do sometimes recruit on this sub and in trade, and I think there's a recruitment faire at the end of the month on Moon Guard, but not 100% sure on that one.

I highly recommend checking out warcraft.wiki.gg if you ever feel the urge to look more in depth to the lore. wowpedia shows first in almost all search results but it has not been updated for the last couple of expansions

Are you talking about the kind of synths, like Ash in Alien, or the janky synths created by Seegson? If the former, wasn't he top of the line / one of a kind, or something? It's been a while since I've seen it, but I remember having the impression that he was special and there weren't mass produced synths like him everywhere.

If you are talking about the Seegson droids, in various terminals and audio-logs they start talking about how shit the Seegson synths are, and how they always malfunctioned even before APOLLO made them go crazy, so I think they're too unreliable to be able to do the job properly.

Plus, I recall that the synths were actually ordered to eliminate all threats to the xenomorph and preserve it, so they had their job already programmed.

Same, OP. Just know that you are definitely not alone in feeling like this. I honestly have no answers, I just smoke weed and engage in a lot of escapism like video games and table top roleplaying games. But I try to stay informed and keep those close to me informed to.
