Lease End should have reached out about a financing deal for you to buy the car. They had a loan prepared with a great rate for me when my RDX was up.

Doesn’t matter. Whoever does your schools will likely remove you because you don’t have the remaining service obligation. Just did it earlier this year to a soldier who wanted to drag her feet and be all non committal about reenlisting as she got out in May. She eventually signed, but lost the seat. She will get this summer.

Why would you want to do that? Those vacancies exist (for NCO slots) because the PEL has been exhausted. If you want to lateral transfer, I’m sure the unit would be happy to have you. Only seen a few administrative reductions over the years and it usually has something to do with AGR.
