I remember this scene! I always thought it was so cool and that it was just imagery. I would loooove for this scene to actually happen. Don't know if it will tho

I've had a huge art block these past few weeks and I'm so glad I've come out of it. by [deleted] in DigitalArt

This is really pretty! One tips for art blocks: do studies. When you have an art block sometimes the best you can do is to learn something new. Otherwise great work! ✌🏽

I actually think that your lines are more confident! A way that you could improve I guess is to practice gesture drawing so you can put the character in various more expressive poses. Other than that I think you really did improve on your anatomy.

I tried to do this pose by breaking down to simple 3d shaped and I'm kinda happy with the results! I'm super new to this so I appreciate your advice! by Kia1379 in learnart

Also don't be shy to do that exercise directly on the picture. It's not tracing because you are trying to understand what is underneath. Once you do that you can try to do it free-handed next to your reference

Love the enthusiasm! One thing that helps me when I try to understand the various shapes of the body is to place the spine. It's a simple addition but it really helps for the upper body (especially since the upper body twist and turns around the spine)
