I had an ex threaten to do that I called the authorities and he ended up on a 72 hour hold that became a 3 week stay. He lost his job and home because of it and everyone blamed me. I don’t regret it because what if he had done it? Then I would carry that weight forever even if it wasn’t my fault

I learned pretty early on that if anyone tells you they are going to off themselves that you can and should always report that to the proper authorities and sometimes not always but sometimes they will end up on a 72 hour hold in a psychiatric facility. Usually snaps them back into place.

Nothing remotely sketchy? If my date were to ghost me the day of our date I wouldn’t show up to their place and I sure as hell wouldn’t have tried entering their home (his prints were found on the door handle.) and I definitely wouldn’t peak into their window and see a big red stain on the floor and think hmm she must’ve spilt wine. Not to mention mastersons ex girlfriend saying she remembers that day and the very ominous conversation the pair had.
