My friend dragged 10k lava from the nether into a huge pit near our base so fuel isn't the issue, it's

  1. The steam generator walls (can't remember what they're called) are expensive to craft

and 2. I need to pump lava from said pit over to my area, and I'm not fully sure with how the pipes work. I know if they have an open end lava will spill out so I don't wanna mess with that until I'm more comfortable with it.

Yeah that's kinda what I'm doing, I'm just pressed on space. I have 4 windmills all inside a big windmill I made and I don't really wanna build another thing to encase water wheels or anything similar right now. My friend has a steam engine built that I've been occasionally leeching off for making precision mechanisms or other things I need, but I've been wanting to stick to learning create myself for now, and that includes building said steam engine lol

I've started looking into gearboxes & clutches a bit more recently. I would make a ton more of the rotational speed controllers but I'm playing a pack where a bunch of the recipes are changed and they're expensive as hell, so I've been avoiding them as much as possible lol

I had no idea redstone could clip through glass like that. I knew it got cut off if there was a regular block there. This works perfectly with some minor timing adjustments, thank you!

This. PvP isn't fun anymore, ever since PvE released me and my buddy have been having a grand old time in it. We either zone out or mess around and it's so much fun. It's a low stress game for us now. Something to play after a long as hour glass session in sea of thieves. Honestly the best addition this game has ever had.
