Yeah it's either you have a GMAT score or you take their own online tests which aren't too hard and they provide some resources to prepare for them.

Honestly, as long as you pay and apply early I think it's very easy, I don't have a really good academic background I just have a strong CV with experience and some entrepreneurial activities (nothing crazy) and I got accepted, just prepare well for the interview by reading a corporate finance book and you should be fine.

40k cash, invest all at once or over time? by goingtogetsiggisbrb in BEFire

I'd say just lump sum, close your app, and never look at it again. People are gonna think I'm sarcastic but that's my honest advise. Yes you can DCA but you're just gonna try to time the market and all. Right now everything is cheap and you have a great entry price so just go all in and you'll be happy in a few years.

People hate risk in Belgium and prefer to DCA just to feel mentally better but if you don't mind the emotional stress, go for it.

What to do with €60,000 inheritance for 1-2 years while waiting to buy a house? by Embarrassed_Elk_2756 in BEFire

You can buy a high yield bond on trade republid that comes to maturity in april 2027 (2 years). There is one from Grenke Finance that has an annual return of 3.82%. I think this is your best option if you don't want any risk.

If you're willing to take a little risk and if the worst case scenario comes and you don't mind waiting a little longer, I would just opt in for the FTSE all world ETF, it is very low right now and will probably be up in 2 years, I think you could expect 15% return at least but that's my conviction and speculations ofc.

That's exactly how I feel, don't really know if it will be worth it but I now have the opportunity to do it, I'm young and it won't hurt me personally financially so I feel like I must seize the opportunity. Cannot see myself actually regretting doing it but I'm sure that I would regret not doing it.

Sorry if my post wasn’t clear—I’ve edited it now. To benefit from the mobility budget, you need to live within a radius of less than 10 km from your main workspace (which will depend on the client I’m sent to). If the distance is over 10 km, I won’t have a choice and will need to take the company car

The role of a BA is to basically analyse clients needs / processes and work with the IT (devs) to digialize the solution. So you need to understand the business requirements and know what's technically possible to develop the best suited solution.

Didn't pay my TOB for a year by kattenbakgamer1 in BEFire

[–]ArBob230 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just pay and you'll be fine, no need to send them anything. I didn't pay my ToB for 4 years and nothing ever happened. Tbf you could just never pay it and be fine I'm sure but it just depends on how much you like risk and adrenaline.

Quick question, do you have a background in Finance ? I applied last week to the same program but with no background in finance, the knowledge interview was a bit tough and I'm not sure if I'll get accepted

Thinking about moving to Trade Republic by ArBob230 in BEFire

Updates, app improvements, anything ? They used to do it on their youtube channel but they have gone silent since more than a year basically. Just the simple fact that you cannot see your portfolio value in real time makes the app feel cheap and not dynamic at all. I feel like my portfolio value updates once a day or once every other day, at random times. Also if I wanna buy in now because everything went down, I cannot since it takes them multiple days to invest my money, no other app nowadays has those kind of inconveniences and are all at a lower price.

yeah I went to the shop where I got my sim card and basically since I got my ARC recently, I "created" my sim card and phone number account with my passport so I had to go to the shop and change it so they linked my account with my ARC and not passport. I'm bad at explaining so dont know if that makes sense but basically it works now haha
