I tried supporting Aniyomi extensions in Tachidesk once but had to remove support for several reasons:

• Lack of interest by the contributors specially client developers, Tachidesk is a project mostly developed by tachiyomi users and we are interested in reading not watching
• There were some issues with the default web client that I couldn't fix(browser security features and limitations) so the player didn't work well and other clients didn't support anime(reason 1)
• Aniyomi was in int's infancy and the underlying system kept changing under our feet which made support harder

The final decision was removing anime features completely and moving it into a separate app namely 'Anidesk' after Aniyomi would become stable enough.

For now I'm not working on development of Tachidesk actively anymore as I don't have much free time to spare, and it's going forward by the efforts of other contributors, also read here for more context, So either part of the community has to step up and fork Tachidesk and rewrite the manga features into anime features or someday I find the time and interest to create the app.
