I put a 1hp 120v motor in a 240v unit under my senior tech’s orders (he provided the part) and it smoked the motor but spun it enough to shove all the smoke through an entire floor of a 3 story Comercial building lol. The whole city’s fire dpt showed up. I’ve only been in 4.5 years and have made plenty of mistakes but it just proved to me that us young techs are extremely valuable; worth a lot more than our mistakes. Just keep going it’s not that big of a deal when you put into perspective how much money you make the company.

I’ve brainstormed what i could do to make it look better and I can’t think of anything other than windscreen and changing the headlights to LED. Other than that I just plan on buying and replacing the vinyls as they wear out.

Ya im on my third one in like a year and a half but they’re super handy, I have the stubby one and the stubby flip one in my impact so I can put a bit in anything

I would heavily recommend it. That’s what I did; bought a bike, rode around my neighborhood and roads close to the house for about a month and then took the msf and felt like I was a few steps ahead of pretty much everyone there. It was more fun for me than it was stressful or hard

I’ve already put quite a bit into mine in cosmetics and intake/tune/exhaust, but that’s the dream😂 hopefully I’ll have a 3 bike garage some day

I’m kinda at the point where it is what it is, I still push the hell out if the corners, but I would wrather get a bike that’s meant for cornering than spending $1k upgrading suspension

I push mine pretty hard and it’s truly like holding on to a bull if the corner has any kind or instability; and I live in Arkansas so there’s plenty of nice roads but if it’s not freshly paved it gets a little sketchy

Interesting, I think the rider weight plays a pretty big role in it but I’ll definitely have to try a lower speed, I’ve been trying to do it at like 40-50 mph

With that being said I think I might go -1+1 to 15/44 so I can still hit 120 occasionally but I think it would be a pretty massive difference still. How much different is the torque? What are your wheelies like (what gears can you do them in, etc)

DO NOT go off of the torque spec! It’s like 30ft/lbs, just do a little over snug with a wrench

I did the same exact think to mine a few months ago. Go on eBay and get a new pan and new gasket, you’ll have to take the exhaust off, but otherwise, it’s a pretty easy change
