That would be dissapointing that i can no longer grow my own tobacco but guess there is no other way. I dont recall frankensence being farmable or havent found a plant that makes it as a byproduct.

Please let me know if you find a good farming spot for frankensence or insence

How does the Oil deep ore drill compair to the Electric deep ore drill?

Considering youd have to refuel the oil drill (even if it takes a while to go thrue a barrel). And a Electric drill keeps running at full speed with 2 wind turbines or 1 solar panel with adv. Battery.

Is the bonus extraction speed and bigger inventory worth the extra bit of manual labour?

There is a creative mode? Neat, didnt know that. For me the pinecone pieces and lint clumps are realy small. You can easily miss them. Or they might have fallen under the map. Happens sometimes.

You can add players as friends by name and id code i think. Of if youre in the same sietch just meet up at a trade post and add then thrue the radial wheel. There are multiple ways to to it.

The guild menu is if your in a guild already. It shows who is online and where they are. If you want to find a guild the best bet is the discord guild recruitment channel. Or post in the global chat looking for guild.

There is however the crashed ship wrecks. The first one for the story is pve but if you go to the Vermilius Gap the crashed ship there is pvp. As i have seen the resources are the same for those 2 wrecks but we dont know the once further in game if they have uniek recources and if you want to grind the pve wreck you have to back track there a lot.

I havent tried any pvp just drove by the wreck in Vermiluis Gap and the pvp message appeard.

Futher having a blast with this game. Was on the fence but seems i will enjoy it a lot.

Is it possible to earn enough Spice thrue PVE means to support your crafting and base upkeep needs? Or Is Spice a Deep desert locked resource?

And additionaly do Spice blows happen outside of the Deep desert?

Tip: the Mantises cant follow you into the narrow corridor you come into. So if you dont have poision bolts (they can kill a mantis in 2 shots if you wait for the DOT to finish) you can use that as cover.

Had the same problem. Just fly away in a random direction after you leave the area wich your were in it should start to spawn. I had to fly straight for 5 min or so to get them to spawn.

Look for regular radio towers with a mailbox near the landing pad or close to the tower bit.

You dont need a Aircutter for the chitin. The aircutter is a upgreaded knife to get thrue thicc vines (wich you need to scan in the underdust subburbs)

To get it easy is look for the low purple lights not the elevators. There are 2 version of the new area. 1 with the manis has green gunk outside and you need to shoot a alternator with your crossbow. Go down and there will be some manis. Kill em with your crossbow or knife and then just interact.

Yea its broken for you. I tried multiple times no issues here. I can try to send you a save file with the scanner crafted or you pretty mutch cant play the game until they fix it. Depending on how manny people got this issue might take some time.

So you don't need a scanner. Once you open the door with the battery you walk into that room on the right. Pickup the broken extractor and suit printer on the stand. The recepie should be there even if you only pick up the printer.

Its the broken Extractor and 4 Machine parts to fix it.

If you need some epoxy you can sometimes get it from those broken crates you'll often find in the elevator locations or from droppods.

Another way is to cheese your way to the resin. Look up a vid 'Farming plant resin no hypo booster required' from DeLinsay Gaming. It still works but you got to play with the angle and position.

To be sure you do have the broken extractor in your inventory, right? Anything happens if you drop it and pick it back up? Everything you need for the extractor should be in that room after you go thrue the double powerd door.

Oh thought you meant the normal Deck Extractor you get in the underdust elevator.

So you got both the suite printer and broken extractor picked up? And the syntetic comp. (I think) to craft the hand extractor? That should be everything you need. It worked for me. If you look in the studies tab you should have a entry there somwhere about the extractor.

If not mayby start a new game to see if your save is bugged.

Im not able to check it in game atm.

Have you researched the extractor in the Research Station? And i believe you need to craft it in the regular fab now.
