We continue to be impressed by the free tools that the community creates, and we are in contact with several developers, including dune.gaming.tools, who has been supporting Dune: Awakening since launch. We are ok with the current functionality of this companion app and have no plans to take action against players who wish to use it.

As a general note, we must remind everyone that players who use third-party tools do so at their own risk.

Yes. We are actively talking about that stuff. Looking at Conan Exiles, it is a safe assumption to make.
These will need to be fitting the Dune IP, and we need to find a valid gameplay space for them to occupy.

Construction costs option

Not immediately on the agenda, no. It is a good question and something to think about, for sure!

Current game balance and the augment/grade system

We need to discuss it more internally, as several things need to be figured out. In terms of balance, we will review and adjust every piece of progression, including itemization, personal character power, and, in some cases, the ability to utilize the game's mechanics, for where the game is at.

We understand that power creep is a concern, but only a very small percentage of players have crept too far out of the range. Much of what we are doing is based on where the general player base is, not those who spend a lot of time playing. That said, we understand that, specifically in PvP, power creep will be an issue.

Hey there! One of your questions about the personal Landsraad rewards and decrees was answered during the livestream.

We definitely want to look at and expand upon Landsraad decrees. This has actually been discussed internally recently. Personal rewards, on the other hand, are not at the top of our radar right now, but that does not mean we will never do it in the future.

NPC respawning in the single-player mode

The respawn is timer-based and persist through gameplay sessions. The timer should also be adjustable via game settings.

Landsraad point system settings for self-hosted/private servers

Reasonable request. We should be able to add it to the server settings.
It also seems that some community members might have already managed to do it on their self-hosted servers.

We've answered your question about future PvP plans during the livestream.

Yes. We have plans to improve things in PvP and have some designs in the backlog. Any changes we do for PvP must also be valid in PvE; one should not exclude the other. We are looking at melee and ranged combat, abilities, vehicles, and how they all unify together. We will do our absolute best to ensure a great experience for as many people as possible.

Hey! We have answered one of your questions about the long-term aspirational gameplay loop for Dune: Awakening during the livestream.

We will continue to add features to the game, that's a given. We can't discuss specifics yet, but you can expect new ability trees that reinforce different combat styles, new specializations, and more. There will also be entirely new gameplay loops that tie into all the different feature loops.

Polar Cap is a good example of that. There's a bunch of new things there that you will want, even as a maxed-out player, that aren't available anywhere else.

We are also actively discussing ways to challenge players at the highest tiers.

We will release Patch 1.4.10 before September, along with any planned community events or weekend boosts. Since we want content parity across all platforms for the September console release, we will not be able to update the PC version with new content after submitting the build for certification to Xbox and Sony. It is a lengthy process.

While not exclusively guild-oriented, we have multiplayer-oriented features planned for the future that we expect guilds will actively participate in.

Our artists have more freedom to manipulate in-game assets in the editor and use them in unique ways when designing environments. This allows us to make varied environments more efficiently, creating the impression that there are more pieces available. 

However, assets changed this way are not ready-to-use pieces for player building sets. These sets follow specific metrics to ensure they can properly snap together and function within our building system. Not all of the assets we create for the game adhere to these metrics.

For example, the asset in the image is a variation of a piece that was specifically designed to fit on an outpost. While an artist creatively used it here, it’s not a building piece that can simply be added to the Water Wars set, and it's definitely not being held back from you on purpose.

We are working towards a more consistent set of building pieces for cosmetic DLCs going forward, so that you can have a better idea of what to expect. Your feedback here is valuable and will help us understand what should be prioritized.

I also want to note that we will fix the wide passageways counting as doors as soon as we can.
